Battery is an issue on most android phones, unless our phone have higher battery capacity like note 2. However, it will depends on how you use your phone too.
For me, most of the time, im at college, thus battery is an important thing i care about, i seldom play games on my phone, prefer pc or console gaming. But i do rely on my phone for updating news and socialize with my friends and family. I will switch off my 3g and wifi whenever i dont need them. Its very tiring to do it, but this is the only way to conserve the battery, my daily usage is around 70-80%, battery is still enough for me.
I can suggest to buy a power bank, it may not be a complete solution and some of it are bulky to carry, but it is indeed useful if you cant charge your phone away from your home and when emergency time comes, its still worthwhile for such investment. Its a bonus, if you have other devices like ipad, tablets, psp, psvita etc, its a monster charger.
