hi guys, im just started working out. im 22, 171cm and 202.5lb (yes, im overweight cry.gif )

i wan to slim down as much as i can and at the same time build some lean muscle and was doing some research on which protein to take. GNC is overprice so its not my choice, and i did some research comparing ON 100% and MyoFusion elite. Most ppl recommend MyoFusion cause its better, cheaper and tastier.

so my question is, will taking protein help achieving my goal? or should i just go workout without taking any protein? i got a workout journal at the member journal thread, my routine is inside there and today is my first day.

oh and MyoFusion contain whey protein isolate so i think it can hlp wit my fat loss also.

You can start working out without protein 1st.

Once you get serious, then only start using supplements.

Sometimes, you might get demotivated and waste your money somewhat..

And protein is just protein. Get the one that you like pretty much laugh.gif

I'm on Syntha-6 purely for its taste laugh.gif

recovery?

That's a diff category no?

Rest more for beginners would be better.

That's what I do. But then again, if you workout and your muscles did not feel sore, that's not really a workout laugh.gif

Haha.

I'm also starting to recently train. Could not give much opinion as everyone has different training method.

For recovery, you can get some protein meant for recovery if you need it.

Generally, Supplements are taken if you are going to go full swing for some time smile.gif

Don't get demotivated smile.gif

Based on your workout journal, you're doing some quite heavy work for a person that don't exercise much.

Let your body adapt to the change 1st before you start supplementing yourself.

Just my opinion.

There are other doctors here that could help you definitely tongue.gif

Sidenote - Don't expect to get so much result for a short period of time. It's a lifestyle.

Well, believe it or not?
With proteins actually helps you cut down weight/burn fats faster.. But most importantly is "EAT CLEAN".

Here comes the "eat clean" statement again?

Define eating clean?

In b4 washing your foods with water....
