Does anyone know any software to convert .irf file to more common format like avi/mp4/mpeg etc? Or any player that could play this type of file?

Its a file that I backup from my CCTV and it seems that the technical support (from the CCTV installer) takes too long to reply (more than 1 week). The software that runs the video for my CCTV is GVREMOTE from GEOVISION INC. I have already tried installing their recommended codec and still fail to play.

Hope someone could help. Thanks

You should download irftool.exe first to convert it to avi from this link

http://www.iviewtech.com/ivt6/support.html

and click on DVR applications for  x86 Windows XP/Vista/7

then follow these instructions: http://www.iviewtech.com/convertavi.html
