Seems like the worst has happened. flying spaghetti monster has acquired the rights to publish the game here. I implore LYN kakis to not play there and instead use the Singapore server so we can fully support the game developers.
We do not have to transfer our accounts to flying spaghetti monster and they will run a separate server. Playing on that means you will NOT be able to interact with the rest of the world.

yeah i din think of playing on the flying spaghetti monster server cos sg server recently is getting better , ping is nice
After reading that announcement at GGG forum, most of them are against the idea of that company to handle POE here in SEA region.
But Chris said he happy and believe that company can handle POE very well, like LoL.
As long as GGG didn't impose any IP/region restriction on SEA players, everyone should stay playing at international server.
This game is more catered towards Western players who loves hardcore ARPG gameplay. Most online gamers in SEA preferred f2p/p2w type of games with less time spent and more RMT involved. Cannot blame them.
I saw the SEA-version PoE published by that silly company also boring edi. Better play at Global server.

Hurm, what is the purpose of having diferent servers? What do they do actually?
Before SEA server exist there's only one server available; Global PoE server which is maintained by GGG (the developer).
It has few gateways for some popular regions and Singapore is one of them. It has low latency and most of SEA players use this gateway to play.
Then GGG and 'that' company sealed a deal where they get the rights to publish the game at SEA. Which is what you can see now.
Singapore gateway at Global still exist but you have to manually type its name now, because GGG thinks SEA people are too gullible to mistaken Global server with 'that' company server. Lame excuse, I know but they probably wanna redirect all new players from SEA to 'that' company's server.
Ah ok, thanks for the explanation. I got confused in between servers and gateways and the different leagues before the answers hit me lol. Basically what separates players before the existence of SEA server is only the different leagues available. All players in different gateways are still connected in a single server, do I get that right?
After the fun I had with necromancers in D3, I straight made a bee line for a summoner witch build.
Heh, its a good build for lazy ass people.
See enemy, send minions, pickup loot afterwards
Btw, is it me or the NRG kinda annoying. I got lots of different rare weapons but no such luck with wands O_o
Yeah, RNG is wayyyyyy too RNG (if that makes any sense) even people are complaining about it in forum.
Anyway, I stopped playing PoE in Global after reaching 85 in Domination, there's no longer any goal/purpose for me to level my character in that league anymore. Even if I want to, the map droprate is way too horrible it feels like it's trying to discourage me from leveling.
I'll wait until the next league starts so I can roll a new character again.
