play legacy.... standard is ur dustbin league.... all ur char will move to standard league after end of season... if u died in hardcore, ur char will move to standard too

as a new player, i wonder how can some player survive normal difficulty without dying...

heck i just died > 10 times in Malachi normal ytd. got total of 8xx life and ES only.

Try to get as much life you can get on gears and cap your gears.
Utilize mobility skills to dodge his attacks.

yea. having problem with my gears..couldn't find a nice life/ES gear..

btw. wanna ask, do i have to spend my skill points on ES? like all my skills points on ES? there are about > 10 nodes improving ES on Witch side of tree. or do I focus on dmg but find gear with ES? I am templar going for hierophant btw.

now am in dilemma, have unspent 16 skill points not sure going for dmg or ES. i have total of < 1k of life and ES now for cruel difficulty, not sure how am i gonna survive on act 3/act 4.

and also, what skills are there for mobility? I've seen some people have like some kind of "dash" without cooldown, flash dash requires cooldown, lightning warp do have abit delay, leap slam kind of odd my for character

Use poe.trade to find gears, unless you're a SSF.

ES is very good, better than life. Top roll chest is 986 ES but they are quite expensive.
Altho in 3.0 ES will be nerfed, which is around 1 month from now.

I dont know what build you going for but you can do life build with ES using mind over matter and eldritch battery. IF you're going for totem build, I think this is good for your build.
I usually have 2k life when starting cruel and ES from whatever gear you come across.

Mobility skills depend on what weapon you use. You can use shield charge if you use dagger/mace. IF you use wand, flame dash is decent and you can use lightning warp too.. better imo than flame dash.

2k life on cruel? how you get that high? mine life alone is 7xx only.
do you spent any skill points on life/ES nodes? i spent some on the ES recharge rate and some maximum ES

I play on HC, so need invest in many life nodes sadly
Recharge rate not worth it, unless you do RF build.

oh..
dam...seems like i wasted around 10 skill points

guess i need to farm more for ES gears..
