VRAM utilization patch is out. It's working ✅👍
before the game can't even utilize more than 2GB, now after 15 minutes running juiced maps it goes over 4.4GB, large majority of texture loading/flickering issue are gone.

For the most parts, most challenges are solo-able. Notes for those slight troublesome ones:

- Complete Encounter IV : Mirage in Leyline map - the one that is moving is the real boss, don't hit the not moving one, twinned mod make it easy.
- Complete Encounter VII : Bestiary boss RNG, either buy lure or encounter. Divine Shrine is also RNG, use Awakened Sextant on watchstones for shrine mods.
- Defeat Endgame Bosses : turn out you CANNOT share Oshabi kill because the completion only goes to the map owner!!! GG 2.5 exalt+ challenge, key is extremely rare
- Complete Encounter VIII : actually need an ENRICHED Uul-Netol key (100c) for area level 81, not the regular one, make sure to DPS her slowly, she spawn portal at each -25% hp. STEP ON THE PORTALS!
- Defeat the Trialmaster : well, good luck... this challenge is actually buyable, you just need to party then go in the same map to works.
- Defeat the Maven : my build suck ass so had to buy carry service, see PoE Trading discord, can find service for 30~40c.
- Open the Vaal Reliquary : extremely rare key drop, might need to buy one if can't find, but not expensive around 50c ish.
- Defeat the Trialmaster Conditionally : THE MOST HATED CHALLANGE, don't bother unless you going 40/40
- Complete Deadly Encounter : just need carry for Feared if build don't have enough high DPS, otherwise others are rippy but soloable
- Complete Endgame Grind : easier options are Argus, Delve, Mastermind, Ritual

I don't understand how the passive tree gives 143 intellect. Especially since they never put any points into intellect.

Which leads to the next question: how did they level up the infused channelling support up to level 20?

Unless there is reason to stack stats (str/dex/int) on passive tree, for example str-stacking zombie build or any energy shield build,
then we do not settle with stats on passive tree. Instead we get them on items - especially on accessories. A high rolled amulet can give 100+ of one stat. And you can further increase it by using quality-catalyst and make the accessory 20% quality.
passive tree points are very precious, don't waste it on stats.


Just stick it anywhere on your item (even secondary weapon set) and kill stuff?
Not like you need to do anything special to level a gem.

Unless if you mean lv21, that a chance by throwing Vaal orb on a lv20.

I see your point on the passive tree points.

My 2nd question was worded poorly. I wanted to figure out how they levelled that blue gem to lvl 20 because I'm constantly gated by the intellect requirement. This build was advertised as a new player friendly build. But Im beginning to think I was conned lol.

I can't even find enough all resist on my gear. And I was lucky to have someone donate a praxis and tabula rasa to me. Else I would be struggling right now.

simply use accessories with plenty of Int on it, amulet, rings... there also this unique amulet with crap tons of stats.
craft yourself some good stat accessories, throw some Orb of Binding / Alchemy Orb / Essences on some white amulet/rings you bound to get some usable ones.
It is fine to take +30 int on passive tree early on, but later you will want to refund them to use on something more meaningful.
It is possible to take the +30 int passive node WITHOUT assigning them on the tree, by [anointing] them on an amulet by using [oils] which you gain from Blight encounters.

Early on while levelling, just throw your rare gears into crafting bench in hideout, if it got free prefix slot, craft Life on it. If it got free suffix slot, craft resist on it.
With the crafting bench, dealing with life and resist early on really isn't that big of an issue.
Tabula while is convenient, switch out of it as soon as possible. 6L rare armor especially corrupted are same price as Tabula except it gives you actual defences.
Don't get too focused on unique items, they aren't "legendary". The best items are always well rolled rares, unless the unique item truly provide build defining function.


This game is high learning curve, so that term can be interpreted in many different level.
But yeah in most cases it just bogus advertising.
the guide you linked really didn't explain much to new player - it assume you are experienced player already, there are large chunk of what he writes only makes sense for experienced players.

Still, even with 1c trash rare/unique items you can bring the build into end game, just don't expect multi-millions of dps.
Then just learn the game mechanism one by one - to understand what items is beneficial for your build. Doing a lot of self research is kinda innevitable for this game.

While just levelling in the story act, just do:
- life & resist
- understand the PURPOSE of your build, how the mechanism works, and how to get more dps
But more importantly, is it even fun to play? You will stick with this one skill for weeks on, so... yeah.

I am done. 36/40. The 150 map completion per region is soo grindy. Trialmaster conditionally thing helped me skipped that.

guys, how do you do higher tier maps?
I'm trying to progress higher but I seem to run out of maps. Then I after that I dono what to do. Have to keep on farming act 10?

Also, is it worth learning how to craft? My understanding is that crafted items are always better than uniques. But I find that getting the crafting recipes are quite difficult. Does anyone have a newbie friendly guide to crafting?

Also is it worth it to do all those extra quests? Like niko, jun, alva?

- complete your atlas bonuses (those checkboxes), that will boost your map drop chance.
- always clear your map until it says less than 50mob left (tab map > top right corner)
- do zana mission to reset her store inventory
- setup your atlas watchstone correctly (dont let them sit at the storage at the left side there), if you playing T6, make sure there are T7+ maps appear on your Atlas, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT WILL DROP <- tis is very important.
- if you try to play red maps WITHOUT any red maps APPEAR on your atlas, you will forever won't get any red map drops, as it will ROLL TO THE LOWEST map tier you got shown on Atlas
- roll your map - Orb of Alchemy or Orb of Binding will works as well, increasing the difficulty (including usage of sextant, scarab, option on map machine, etc) of map = more drop - but of course watch out for mods you cannot tackle
- build your character around countering some of the dangerous map mods, for example reflect immunity if your class allows it, ailment immunities, etc

- keep playing Jun mission to do unveil to get more crafting table recipe, some recipe also gated in specific contents - socket and link in Delve, "meta" mods (eg: suffix cannot be changed) from prophecy bosses
- advanced high end crafting is RNG gamble, if you feel like doing it then go ahead and learn the deep mechanism
- always plan your craft with craftofexile.com beforehand - how to acquire certain mods, where to acquire it, what base type to get that mod, how to reduce the size of RNG pool, etc
- every knowledge of this game worth something, the more you know the better, even if you don't intend t utilize it

- too much contents to deal with, if you don't have a reason to do it then don't
- niko is to farm fossil for crafting, Jun for unveil items & some T4 safehouse crafting functions, Alva for some temple function like double corrupt
- Ailsing T4 Research safehouse selling for around 3exalt last I know, you can use that to generate income if you want, even if you don't intend to use the crafting function yourself

Let me see if I get this right: You will only get maps that you have done before? In that case how do you get new maps? Or how can you move up the tier? Only by buying form zana?

- when you play a map, it will also have a chance to drop adjacent map, even if adjacent map is not completed (but also tie to the rule - what you see on atlas is what you will drop)***
- you can also vendor 3 same map and it will give you 1 higher tier of the adjacent map
- use orb of horizon, this orb isn't too rare
- harbinger orb upgrade a map tier but this orb is quite rare
- vaal your map, it have a change to become 1 tier higher or transform into another different map
- Zana's mission map also count toward your atlas completion, so always pick the one you haven't done (unless of course if the map mods are too scary and you forced to abandon that choice)

***what shown on your atlas IS your map drop pool, make sure you setup the watchstone correctly.
But basically, just make sure you have higher tier map SHOWN on atlas whenever you play something.
Example : You don't want to go play T11 while all shown on your atlas are still T6 or lower, that would be a very big mistake.
^ this means, with the conqueror watchstone system, you CANNOT just skip the conqueror-watchstones grind and went straight into T15/T16 after finishing story... until... we got Maven recently.

Maven progression drops craftable watchstones, and they are tradable as well. Go buy some if you find yourself lack of watchstone, or just plain don't want to bother with the conqueror grinds.
