Leveling is actually fast, my EK witch leveled pretty fast, just rush to places to level like ledge/fellshrine/western forest/start of act 2/city of sarn/docks. Then you just do the main quests once you're happy with your level, either do in a group or rush through with 2-3 quicksilvers.

You can skip those refund skillpoint stuff. Just do them when you're not rushing levels. That's how I leveled my marauder pretty fast and my witch too.

should really level to docks or city of sarn till 70 at least before maps, because those places still give 100% exp. Check out my shop, might have ranger gear still

Hopefully the slight increase in high level map drop rate is not a 0.5% increase or something like that.

Nice, chanced it, bought it or found it?

How many HC characters did you lose so far? I actually want to switch to HC but with all my friends on SC and not much time to play HC, how is mapping over there? I don't really like playing on the USA/Europe gateway as it is pretty laggy

Thing is about doing maps, if you're not doing with people playing on the Singapore server, you'll be in their instance, and its not a very good idea doing maps alone anyway unless you have lots of maps.

edit: I assume there are not many people playing HC on the Singapore gateway, that's why i'm asking

End game content, you'll start getting map drops at around monster levels 60-61+, I think.

Maps range from level 66 to 77 right now. You can use orbs to make your map a magic map or rare map, unique if you're lucky. Maps with harder mods in it like Players cannot regenerate mana or health gives better item quantity.

Save them unless you keep dying, then post a message on trade chat buying gear your level and pay at most 1 alchemy orb for 3 items if they are of use to you

Will try to get my friends over to HC, hopefully they'll go and maybe we'll play even more cautious even tho we rarely die in maps. We just got raped at the Maze Map boss after no deaths for a long time, with some crappy-ish mods on the boss.

Still not sure if I should continue my freezing pulse marauder or play my new CI crit dagger LS character.

Would take sometime to get a 6L taryn's shiver and kaom's for my marauder to finish up "end" game gear.

Also, nice post about maps on the official forums, probably helped lots of people who just roll maps without looking for decent mods.

got a templar ele cleave up to 70/71, pretty fun and huge dps, now trying out ci crit dagger lightning strike build. I find it much more enjoyable compared to my other chars i have, might make it my main char now

you don't need a 5L to finish piety or do maps tho

Yep, I'm using a 30mb TIME Fiber line and getting lots of packetlosses and basically unplayable.

Tried US and Europe, pretty bad as well, still get spikes, but Australian server is fine with some small lag spikes, much more bearable.

Also my friend using 20mb Unifi line is having same issues as well.
