QUOTE(syawalz @ May 7 2013, 09:13 AM) Hi Guys, a new user for Lumia 720... Just bought it yesterday at LY Ask him this: why bother selling WP8 if you think its such a bad phone? Tired with BB with small screen and the new unit is damn expensive, so migrate to WP and back to Nokia ^__^ A bit pissed off with seller yesterday at LY, keep saying to me that I'm the only person who buy Windows phone, keep asking why not take android... In my heart - "Suka hati aku la!" though I keep explaining that i like the function better... Just FYI, that seller also pissed off that his luck went out cos the unit he gave me are broken one, unable to charge. Then he replace with new one. Also same problem. 2 unit of 720 was replaced right in front of me until I get the functional one which I have one right here... makes me regret not to buy direct at Nokia store |

QUOTE(dennis_lcfx @ May 9 2013, 01:06 AM) Just got my Lumia 720 last saturday. So far quite pleased with it except that no screen protector + case is available for it yet. If you're not using data, go to settings > mobile network > disable data connection > disable data roaming option > set 2G as highest connection speedI have an issue with it right now. I was using some really old nokia phone previously so I didn't sign up for any data plan; just regular prepaid. I noticed that even when I am not using the phone, my credit literally disappears. I checked my balance this afternoon and it was RM 6. At 6 PM, I made a phone call and when the balance check came, it was RM 0.03. I am really confused right now. What could possibly be eating my credit away without notifying me? Is there a way I can check the data usage? and also go to Nokia Drive/Here Drive > navigation options (bottom left icon) > settings > disable connection whats apps have you downloaded so far? QUOTE(dennis_lcfx @ May 9 2013, 01:50 AM) Thanks. I turned off data connection and set 2G as the highest connection speed. I didn't use Nokia Drive/Here so I didn't change anything. some apps would use data in the background so you should tinker with the app settings, and i suggest you to disable all background task running (settings > swipe to right > background task > block all)Apps downloaded so far has been minimal. - Battery - Flashlight - Skype - Spotify - Wikipedia - Whataspp - and a few other free games. btw you can get Nillkin back cover + SP here http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/Nillkin-Ultra-t...=item801cc429a9 |
