did you guys check the date last updated everytime wanna install apps?

my rule of thumb, if year 2012 and before, the apps is for windows phone 7,
only install most recent updated or year 2013 apps..


check every apps and games, if you had to check it one by one, by all means, do it,
if you had to uninstall, do it too.


crashes also a popular issue in early days of lumia 920 thread,
but when i come up with the rule of thumb, and everybody seems to agree with it and no more crashes after that..


but, newly release apps also may got bugs, but it is much easier to detect lah if u already buang all apps for wp7..
when crashes after install new apps, u know the culprit is who..

but if u not filter out wp7 apps and just install every apps u see, then problematic la..

920 has more details, refer to cat photo,
720 better than 820..

Sometimes i wish my 920 doesnt have ois or at least can turn off ois, because if wanna take document picture sometimes fail if i position the handphone in awkward angle..

if straight up no problem, bug if the paper lying on table, problem abit if wanna take picture, the ois kicks in, and picture come out blurry abit. no longer valid since i already diy the fix.

u see, this picture is perfect, sharpness ok, can see individual dust on the usb hub,.. no complain,
sometimes only the OIS kacau, making the image blurry abit, but only a little, maybe 3 out of 10 tries..
camera position is landscape, almost straight up.

shot using proshot, if shot without app also can, but i dun like to change settings at native camera, i let it all auto with no flash and assist light. use only for quick capture only.. if wanna serious abit, i use proshot.
all auto on native camera gives off white balance, because it sensing the orange color table as incandescent light, so it become bluish..

this is what happens when camera position is not held at straight up landscape position,
the ois actually kacau the focus locking, it still doing OISing even during capturing image process.. it should stop moving la when capture, right..
only one out of 20 images i got the picture come out sharp.. i can show them all, but whats the point..

same also, when not upright, it is very hard to focus.
i mean, the camera focuses well, but during capture, OIS still oising, causing blurry image when capture..

OIS shud be turn off la, this is macro shot, phone is not moving at all..
this one also, 1 out of 30+ images only i manage to capture with no blur..

for 720 maybe..
but obviously not for 920,
too many moving part,
auto focus + always on OIS..

good luck taking blur free macro picture..


OIS only good for video..

better dont do screen shot,
it will capture not what color on screen, but what color the screen shud display,

take photo using other camera..

open any picture or lyn,

take dslr or digicam, capture from outside.

i say ur lcd rgb color comform lari already,
maybe kena replace lcd or recalibrate, which we cant do it ourselves,

shud send for warranty.

too bad.

lumia menu color basically just monotone color only,
so it shud no prblem..

just like my house lcd monitor, it cant display red color well, the monitor rosak already cos kena petir and kilat..
forgot to turn off.

only picture file can send over via BT, can find at album>saved picture,
mp3 u can send, phone will receive, but it will dissappear, u cant view it, u cant find it.

u sure not it is flash, not focus assist light?

who here has been reading my post about bad 920 OIS,
u guys can forget that, since i found out the problem is not from the OIS,

i DIY the fix myself and now working great, taking blur free photos..

so, who has been hesitant to buy 920 because of my posts, i am sorry..

better u buy small powerbank, the tube one,
if u change to 720, u may get storage problem pulak..

I just bought powerbank, still waiting for delivery, let see how many times can feed my hungry lumia 920..

now i can go masuk hutan, use compass, gps, like no tomorrow..

just shoot someting close, and keep it away from background..
if u have to squat, then do it.. Lol..

the sensor is smaller on lumia 720 compared to 920,
so, to compensate that, they put in 1.9 to allow more light..

Buy online boleh, just dont be the first few buyers lah.. Or cod with the seller..
