Hi, recently I bought a jailbroken iPad. Can I update to the latest version without uninstall jailbreak?

remember don't update on the air..
suggestion by evasi0n team if u wanna to jailbreak again.. just use iTunes restore and update method.. But my suggestion is stick to iOS 5.1.1 first... Nothing much difference just a new wallpaper, Siri , Do not disturb etc. On iOS6.1.2 , my battery life decreases significantly. |

QUOTE(jiant @ Mar 3 2013, 11:34 PM) How to update the JB version to new iOS? Is it same as non JB iOS to latest iOS? Not sure about 5.0.1 since my stock ipad 3 come with 5.1.1 How about compare with 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 which one more battery saver? U using what device? iPhone 4? Only A4 processor can be down-gradable if I not wrong. So new device u don't have the choice. Recently I download a app called 金山电池医生 (Battery Doctor) iTunes Link HERE My battery life boost significantly even on iOS6.1.2 , but it take very long time to fully charge my iPad 3 , about 12 hours (normally about 5~6 hours) QUOTE(jiant @ Mar 3 2013, 11:34 PM) Last week when I restore + update to iOS 6.1.2, I did a backup but all my free apps + crack apps lost, left only photos and music. You can try a way, but not guarantee working. U use iFunBox to backup the ipa file. This method only works in crack apps, apps downloaded from iTunes not working if I not wrong cause I tried before. Then after u update then jailbreak then download appsync 6.0+ then install ipa using iFunBox.QUOTE(jiant @ Mar 3 2013, 11:34 PM) Don't update directly from your device. Go download latest iTunes version, click "Restore and Update". If non-jailbreak can update to latest without restore, but if jailbreak update directly might cause problems (which I heard from other forum)This post has been edited by aristotletan: Mar 4 2013, 11:46 AM |

Anyone with IOS 5 just lost their opportunity to update to IOS 6.1.2 as Apple has coming out with IOS 6.1.3 which currently can't be jailbreak using evasi0n. Sorry, you've missed the train ;-)
