 Dell N4050, laptop CPU underclock

its possible to underclock or reduce multiplier for laptop CPU i5 2.3Ghz 2410m sweat.gif becos my laptop is underclock right now.... its should be 2.3ghz but when i use cpuz.. its show 800mhz and multiplier x8 only.. even 100% load.. before this my laptop is overheating.. so i sent to shop at lowyat plaza.. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

if u use win 7, try to

go control panel > power option

n then select high performance

if still dont change,

go control panel > power option > 'change plan setting' > restore default for this plan

hope that helps u...if not, then i think theres other underlying problem that keeps ur proc underclocked
