What is Samsung doing with such low resolution in 2013?
I'm really looking forward to it but now, quite disappointed with the spec. The price will drop like butterflies.

Depends , if u only have 1 sim card and want to use for calls and surf internet with big size screen . This is a good choice. The ability to make calls and external storage is how it differentiates from ipad mini.
With the mini you need to have a phone to carry in your bag.

I will stuck with Ipad iphone and Mac for quite sometime...
most of my presentation is in keynote which sync to cloud and I present with my ipad mini using the VGA dongle... I cant imagene if I would ever carry a notebook to do presentation again... also if I forgot my ipad I got my iphone 5 which also sync to icloud and keynote is ready and the dongle also works... my business is in my phone... (so called) and the apple eco-system it is so complete... I sync everything to cloud and I dont even use a thumb drive anymore and if I switch to android meaning I need to plug in... pfffttt who need to plug in to sync please.........

oh I have a stylus which is a Wacom Bamboo solo... it works great on ipad mini I dont think if I switch to Galaxy Note 8.0 I will be productive mainly I will spend time syncing from computer to device and back to computer everytime I update my slide... such a mess... (those who have the complete apple ecosystem will understand what I say) apple dont sell devices only they sell the complete experience... if you one only 1 apple device and rest are various brand... you wont experience it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeE6taG7yDoThis post has been edited by calvin_ng: Feb 27 2013, 07:39 PM

Battery wise, iPad will win hands down. I have used many Android tablets and none of them have a good battery life.
And for Note 8.0, the battery capacity is just 4XXX mAh. In some aspects, it looks like a downgrade compared to Tab 7.7 (5100mAh battery, aluminium back, no middle button, has flash LED)

Doesnt matter... android has no ecosystem yet all their devices (android) does not offer a simmilar connected experience... they have NFC said to share photo.... apple just use share photostream way easier...

1 thing I still can't change my tablet to android is because of it's app.
No matter what, iOS apps seem more polish. Take example candy crush, play side by side and you'll realize iOS is much more smoother in animation. Not clunky and more eye pleasing compare to android

QUOTE(OCMAX @ Feb 28 2013, 01:59 PM) +1. Apple system is so convenient to used. NFC with Bluetooth/WiFi Direct is to share stuffs with OTHER PEOPLE. Thats the keyword, OTHER PEOPLE. It will get there. Google already have Google Drive for some time and Samsung had their own cloud service. The thing is, you will need to be doing what you are doing now, which is buying a single brands of multiple devices. If you buy a Samsung handset and hope to cloud with a Nexus tablet for say, its impossible. Just like its impossible to cloud your iPad with Android handset. If you want to cloud on multiple OS/brands, you can only rely on third party apps like Google Drive.

a lot of people buy Samsung tables because they can download free apps and movies without restriction. I believed Samsung will still have a lot of buyers. I prefer IOS platform.
