QUOTE(thesun @ Feb 26 2013, 09:02 PM) i mean use it until the phone die la.. i did that earlier days of using this phone, now batt life improving.. Placebo effect. Never let the run dry. You are just hurting the battery. This the common mis-concept perceived by many. Do this only if your battery support built-in meter.

Whatsapp is definitely the culprit. Do a simple test you can testify that. Just send a few sms thru. whatsapp and immediately you can feel the heat coming from your handset.
Secondly, do not install all those battery management or indicator apps. Every seasonal smartphone user know all these apps. drain power instead of saving it. Their logic is lame, by forcing others background apps. to close is useless in mobile OS. This not only not saving on power consumption but the OS has to re-activate the apps when needed again. Start up a new apps is very power consuming instead of putting them on background which don't draw any.
Do you think all those OS engineers is not smart enough to know this and design the OS with this issue on it? Or the outside programmer is more smart than those OS engineer?
