By switching to 2G, it is switch to Edge automatically. For my case, most of the time I only use 2G for whatsapp, reply email etc. Unless I want to watch video , VoIP call, surf net, then I will switch to Wifi or 3G

even this reply, I also use 2G only

Nope. Works like normal as long as your signal is good. I support what solution2u said since I use 2G most of the time also. I only switch to 3G for watching streaming videos. The only exception is my office room which has almost no 2G signal but 2 - 3 bars of 3G.

I'm guessing this is a feature for phones sporting 1080p res screen. So if anyone wanna make a less than 5" 1080p WP8 phone, they most likely can enable the 5 columns. Keep your fingers crossed.

My guess is only 1080p resolution have 5 columns; so, whether it is 6 inch or like HTC One's 4.7 inch, if 1080p then u get 5 columns.

Pros: Can watch HD p0rn in more detail
Cons: Watching p0rn on bigger screen attracts unnecessary attention more easily

Something like 6 inch ah, i can still adapt to it, but i hate using 2 hands (1 hand holding the phone, the other tapping the screen) just for a simple task like making phone call and texting; on my Lumia 920 i can hold the phone single-handedly and text with my thumb of the same hand, the buttons are big enough + the help of text prediction. But if 6 inch, i dun think my thumb can reach fully across the screen, wont be able to reach buttons like Q and A

Too much clutter, if they want they can bring back that empty space for windows phone 7 LOL with arrow and probably some other buttons, probably to go notifications or something

This is my personal opinion for anything bigger than 5" brows.gif

Pros: Great for watching movies, gaming.
Cons: Not possible to use 1 handed, I use 1 handed a lot & L920 is already on borderline of what I can use 1 handed. But I think it's also because L920 is heavier than the rest of the phones. Typing becomes harder also as my thumbs needs to move further.

OK...now I am worried. My phone seems to drop from H to E and unable to bounce back. This has happened three times since last night. I need to reinsert the sim card to enable H connection.

I hope this is network/sim card (I'm using Maxis) issue instead of something wrong with my Lumia

I agree it is messy, how about that extra screen space on left side used as a vertical bar for notifications, touch the bar to pull out to see preview (opps, sounds like copying BB10 OS, but meego was also like that i think), and if u swype the screen on the right u see full notification center.
