I was about to leave Nokia when during the 2010 era, but Nokia keeps on producing good cameraphones and now the the Lumia products thus I have my faith back on Nokia.. I don't care what people say "Nokia lapok, Nokia this and that Nokia shitty shit shit" but I know why I am always behind Nokia

Just want to ask, is there an alternative for updating the firmware without using the phone interface? any software to update through computer? like last time?

To those that have very fast battery drain, do take your phone to Nokia care centre for a check. I went to The Sunway Nokia shop to update to portico and the guy updating for me was from the service centre. He said he has changed many batteries already so I am planning to drop by when I am free to get it changed

So much for the Aluminium Lumia 928. They're probably saving that for the next iteration of the Lumia 9XX. I just heard that the Lumia 920 is only RM1699 in JB (Jusco Bukit Indah), can anyone confirm?

Look a lot like 720 to me. Still prefer 920 design over 928. Just my opinion though. wink.gif

Can't wait for Nokia Malaysia's crappy keep-on-delay crappy progress of the OTA Portico update, used NSU to update it myself. doh.gif

Now restoring all the apps. Hope MS will update it in the next update to show what are the particular app that is currently being download. smile.gif
Now is just bunch of downloading applications sweat.gif
Would be better if there's an iOS kind of fully backup program, backup all the app,app data,music/video,photo,messages, and etc.

Before this was stock version, battery life is around 8-10 hours with moderate usage on WiFi, 5-7 hours on 3G with the same usage (wechat, a bit gaming, email auto check hourly)

Hopefully 1308 will have better battery life biggrin.gif

better batt life, if u jarang guna under direct bright light,
cos automatic brightness with sunlight readability really powderful to the max..

me myself set brightness to low settings,
already ok to read under normal room condition.
it is harder to read if u stand in the middle of an open area with bright sunny day.. (unless u kerja polis traffic then diff story lah)

true, tried it before
after i turn the brightness to low, battery life prolonged about 3-5 hours on 3G
if langsung didn't use wifi, just stand by, 1 day only drop around 5% laugh.gif

Not just in JB. Gardens has already reduced the price to RM1699 from RM1999. Thats a steep drop of RM300! Sales lady said that the promo was implemented 2 days ago, 'all of a sudden', and will last indefinitely. If KLCC has the same reduced price, i'm jumping onto the Lumia bandwagon!
