with portico update ...picture become "smooth" problem still there ...but if using proshot then tak ada ..tested with my friend lumia 920 using stock camera apps and my lumia 920 with proshot 

sharper than 1st gen ROM  = yes

but still will smooth little bit ..compared to proshot

u go buy proshot and snap some photo ..then u will know the story

2. camera? lumia 920 is shitty anyway, plus 720 also not bad

I only buy flagship phones nowadays, and oh, there's an important thing Lumia 720 is lacking - it only have half the RAM, cant run high tier games like Asphalt 7.  Lumia 820 looked boring in terms of design.

On the camera, it was partly the reason why i bought it, but i tend to treat my phone cameras as if im a pro, i custom modified a tripod for this phone; i also had modified frames i DIYed to attach external lenses to my phones, especially the older N8, the lenses are extracted from ridiculous sources like CCTV's camera (i needed the wide aperture, most CCTV have f/1.6) for specific uses and the lenses had manual focusing like DSLR lenses.

After my exams i wanna DIY another set of frame to attach my current assortment of lenses to my L920. I also use apps like Proshot (especially the manual focus) and camerapro to push the camera to its best potential. I could say the photos are fantastic. Most of my photos are close up shots so the 'soft picture' problem is never really a problem to me. A geek with mental problem at work here. 

i think he means mount the mini zoom lens on tripod? 

or really mount a DSLR lens like iphone? 

I guess i have to spend it on beats earphone liao =( Then maybe sell the earphones off and get back some cash. Penang stores have it. The matte one by Nokia all damn nice, if i could just get a red and blue one...

*Edit, seems like the black one, CC1043 above by ainuddin, the case covers everything including the bottom and top part? Nice... Thats what im looking for, but i dun want if it is soft rubber like material, silicon...

no, i mean even if using touch screen or button, it still come out blurry.
i think the camera mechanism itself is stupid..
i assume, when we take a picture,

1. we snap the picture
2. focus (lens is moving)
3. light enters the sensor
4. after finish then only lens should retract to default position
but for this phone, i think

1. we snap the picture

4. the lens already retract to default position BEFORE actual process of image capture done/finish

thats why always blurry

i think nokia wants to show how fast the phone is ready for the next picture.. 

this is something you guys havent master. There is a way to master the focus . How some impressive shot if you wait for continous auto focus you might not get the similar end result.

I am writing an e-book on mobile photography.

You guys can buy it when its out and master those hidden secret. Actually there no secret its just the method you do it

I mastered the technique already for macro and medium-distance shots  For landscape shots, not so much yet; im not that skilled in that aspect.
My cousin mistook of of the macro shots i took with this phone for one that came from a digital camera.

The distance I am able to reach usually no one believe.

so, i am correct, the problem lies in the moving lens as picture being captured

i have all the lumia phones. So i know what i am talking about. But since you insist what you said please recreate ths with your phone

I see new updates here new updates there in online articles, but so far i got very few only, those by Nokia like Display + Touch... Yea, Nokia does a good job with upfates, but Nokia Malaysia eill most likely tell you to wait 3 months more with a troll smile...
