Are you zooming when you are reviewing picture in gallery?
If that's the case, maybe you can try HD Photo Viewer. The gallery uses a less resolution photo, hence when zoom in, it appears blur.

Trust me, HD Photo Viewer is worth it. It's also integrated (sort of) in the camera app under Edit. So I use it all the time to check my just taken pics instead of relying on the blur preview.

Been using my 920 before it was even officially launch in MY. Camera wise the best but OS wise, the worse.. Quite disappointed and hopefully they'll make it better with Blue. Biggest problem for me has always been notifications.. it's not instantly sometimes which really sucks. Plus when are they even going to announce a notification center. The OS needs it badly. Lives tiles is not enough 

What issue did Whatsapp give you? If I may know.
