guys do you know which app that provide access to the wifi/flight mode/data settings that are capable of customising the tile's color?

dont need have tiles to show whether is on or off...prefer a simple one...
looked into "connectivity tiles" and "quick settings" but "connectivity tiles" cant change tiles' colour while "quick settings" is show the toggle on its tiles...

Im using Dashboard. Not sure about changing the colors. You can easily pin the tile shortcuts, no ads or anything. Good app.

i have that too...but dont know why after installing the app, my phone experience the "sleep of death"...ie, at night ok, but in the morning i cant turn phone on, need to soft reset it...
maybe is just coincidence but i tried un-install and re-installing also the same...for 2 night on a row...
but then that was before updating to portico...

hi guys,

Need your opinion.

Im really interested in getting the Lumia 920. Im wondering if its a good move to get it now or wait for the next revision. Coz im hoping all the updates will be incorporated like Portico and the upcoming one.

Also im in no rush to change phones.

Thanks

this is just my opinion...it may vary with others and also your opinion...

if you could wait for the next revision, i will even advice you to wait for the next successor to 920...
as much as i like my 920 and enjoy using it, it is not without some obvious flaws...

1. mainly the heat (i'm ok with heat but not heat with the possibility of toasting the radio chip)...so far my 920 is heating up but not that hot until causes any problems yet...touchwood touchwood...

2. some windows phone 8 bugs, like random reboot, and time / date being reset after a soft reset...given this is still a new OS, this is expected...i'm ok with the bugs so far, nothing major until it breaks my usage of the phone...

3. apps are coming, but somehow i feel like developers are still skeptical about WP8 platform...

4. if you are a heavy google services user, i advice against you getting WP8 devices...

other than that, 920 is a good phone to use, and i dont regret being an early adopter of WP8...

Penang Gurney hAve charging plate, stand, and pillow already. Whatever u choose, each also cost RM 399 =_=
I bought a stand anyway or my 150buck coupon will go to waste.
*
what the, RM399? it suppose to be just RM319 for the stand, and RM309 for the pillow...
nokia malaysia seriously need to get their act together...

*
if i'm not mistaken the power output is around current is around 750 mA...
which i guess is around 0.75 instead of 1 using the wall charger...

try check out the deals at PC fair, Lumia 920 RM1699 with monster purity earphone and Lumia 800 for only RM599...pretty good deal...

honestly feel like getting proshot just to use the manual focus...
sometimes the pics taken but the default camera app kinda blur especially the "non-focus" area...

If it wasn't for the 512MB ram, the Lumia 720 would superior to the 820. It has a better camera that is nearly comparable to the 920.

but the lumia 720 only support nokia drive not the nokia drive+...

Only because the Lumia 520 and 720 aren't out yet. If the shitty 620 can use it, why can't the 720s with near identical specs?
*
not sure if the region here would be different, but according to this article 520 and 720 wont be getting the nokia drive+...

Why don't Lumia 720, Lumia 520 Windows Phones support HERE Drive+? Nokia explains.
