But it doesn't show alternative routes like gmaps? I have Garmin Navigator installed by Telstra, not sure if only Telstra customers can use it. Haven't test the maps yet, will do today.

I see new updates here new updates there in online articles, but so far i got very few only, those by Nokia like Display + Touch... Yea, Nokia does a good job with upfates, but Nokia Malaysia eill most likely tell you to wait 3 months more with a troll smile...

the one after portico? any performance bump? camera quality?

download that software by google...
before ur update pls full charge ur phone...
and that will wipe all ur data...so need to backup ur data before update...
1.downaload Nokia Software Updater for Retail 2.0.6
2. install it. if u got before version pls uninstall 1st.
3.open it...plug ur phone.
4.that software will detect ur phone and say what version is latest. click update.
5.depand on ur internet speed. that firmware will 1.3GB and that is 1232.5957.1308.0008(malaysia phone)
6.finish download n that will start install around 2-5min i think.(dont touch ur phone.. switch off ur phone..or unplug ur phone.. any notification on windows pls ignore it...)
7. after install that phone will reboot. wait it 1 or 2 min.
8. a setup page like new phone will display in ur phone.
9.congratulations ur phone is UPDATED

nice. i really, really hope the next update will upgrade the custom tone/notification settings;

1- adjust individually volume controls of ringtones, notification tones, alarms, etc.

2- custom tones for alarms, sms, etc.

owh come on, why havent they release the update yet. i would have update it manually. but the sad thing is i have so many saved games and apps. is there a way to update it manually without losing all this. microsoft should implement backup apps data together with everything else. =(

Only SMS and mail cannot custom; im using custom sound for alarm - my own songs. Same rule apply as ringtone - 30secs length at 1MB max - the tracks in the ringtone folder will appear alongside those already included when u want to change tone for alarm.

Apparently the Display+Touch function that let us customize the Theme colour ourself is not available for this firmware. Good thing is Storage Check
