I feel that fffansub's subtitles for YOnSLChM kinda off... for most of the part.
They just... not suited to sub any anime adapted from seinen light novels.
I feel stupid reading those mistranslated subs.

did they just hired an amateur chara designer?

i know.
what i'm questioning is, did they just hired a person who totally cant draw hands to design the characters.
sometimes, they hired a freelance artist as character designer while the studio just handle the bigger production.
that is how animation studio works.
-get a project to work on
-hire chara designer
-if main production line cant handle the stuff, they will outsource animators/other company.

closer to ln arts wont make it better, if the screenplay/storyboard artist could not bring the contents that it deserves to be like what we have in season 1.
gotta agree that chara design in s1 portrays the characters perfectly.
same goes to monogatari franchise, vofan did the ln artworks but watanabe akio's chara design for the animu seems to have better grasping at their characteristics.

Haven't been to Nakano Broadway but I know I like Akiba's Mandarake. How's Broadway's Mandarake?
