Guys, does the gnex suffers any lag/stutter in the latest update to 4.2.2? Any bugs?
Planning to get myself a gnex, but don't know how well it cope with 4.2.2 update. Not planning to flash custom rom though.
So can any gnex users that had updated to 4.2.2 and running on stock rom please give some feedback? brows.gif

GNex has been lagging (almost like shit) since 4.2 has been introduced to this phone. If you want smoothness and fast, stick with 4.1.2.

if u are not into heavy gaming.....no problem at all

Gnex should survive at least another major Android version upgrade official from Google (Assuming that official support for 2 years based on Nexus S)

Don't forget the slower HSDPA speed compared to N4. A lot slower.

Galaxy Nexus hsdpa 21.1mbps hsupa 5.76mbps
Nexus 4 dc-hsdpa 42mbps hsdpa 21.1mbps hsupa 5.76mbps.

Can you really hit 42m in malaysia?
*
Cannot tongue.gif

Neither can you hit 21mbps with GNex. Not even half of that, as the highest I got was around 8mbps.

With N4 OTOH, I managed to geh 26mbps, that's more than half of DC-HSDPA's speed. biggrin.gif

Anyway, nothing to it. Just makes you feel shiok when doing Speedtest.

Domination ROM includes few settings on speed hack for HSUPA or something. Never bother at it because my digi hack anyway pun so slow one.
*
I wonder how it works? Boost the signal strength on the radio?

QUOTE(springfall @ Feb 26 2013, 07:38 AM)
aokp used to have.
domination has them.
some has effect some none, my guess is find the credits to the developer then use their mod if it works.

If I apply speedhack onto my N4, I might get close to 42mbps speed? Provided if it works.

Afraid the phone might melt. laugh.gif

QUOTE(djlah @ Mar 13 2013, 02:16 PM)
as everyone know google and motorola working on X-phone. here is latest new rumor update:
Motorola X is the Motorola NXT, Rumored as the “NXT” (pronounced “Next”)

rumor spec:
- Nvidia’s quad-core Tegra 4i (lower or cheaper version of original Tegra 4 but with LTE integration)
- 4.7 inch FHD display, 468ppi pixel density
- 16MP rear camera
- 5MP front facing camera
- Android 5.0, or “Key Lime Pie”
- dimension: 131.2 x 66.7 x 7.9 mm

expected to make a splash at this year’s I/O in May.

* the rumor photo showing NXT are fake !

When you have heard of more than 1 spec circulating, then it's most likely remained as rumour.

The spec I saw was:
1) Dual core, for LTE capability
2) 10mp camera, 5mp front
3) FHD, 5", probably 4.7" if screen shortage issue happens.

Design was not firmed due to screen size issue.

That is all.

BTW, NXT, would Apple sue, or Google is poking fun at Apple?
