Did you check out that Nvidia i500 modem solution? Seems good as it's a software modem that can be reprogrammed. Not sure how far can it be reprogrammed

Any apps can set my app freeze when not use it. Greenify? Need root rite? I need for stock..

I think the apps keep get updated then prompts me to 'install the binary'. I'm not sure what's that but it's required for root access. Bla bla bla...

Not my phone bro. My friend phone and his scare root will void his warranty. I use grenify on my phone and suggest to him but need root then he ask me for other apps can be use without root. I know this option only available for rooted phone. Any suggestion?

What kind of apps? For me, apps that drains battery like Line, I'll just force stop them after I check it (once in a while) for new messages (not many ppl find me on line anyway). Until the next time I fire it up, it won't run in the background. But for system apps/stupid apps like Maps, force stopping it will just stop it for some time. It'll "respawn" after some time

Yes. For system apps that running in background. It drain much battery life and use more space on ram. Okay, i will try to make him want to root his phone later. Unroot phone like a useless phone. Haha..

Actually, on stock ROM, I think root is only useful for...

1) Limiting CPU Speed (Set CPU)
2) Backup and restore (also...)
3) Flashed with custom kernel, to tune kernel
4) Delete shutter sound for cam and videocam
5) AdFree!!!
6) Anything else???

Oh... can change DPI as well.

In conclusion, custom ROMs do a better job

My only complain is the Boot Animation

Oh... The boot animation doesn't loop. I pulled battery during the first few boot (didn't stare at the screen) thinking that it's not booting up. However... Actually it's just showing a black screen after the boot animation. Wait for a while before the lockscreen appears. Stupid me
