That's easy. Hang out here. There are lots of infos to get the best out your xbox. Of course, only for unmodded and original xbox. No discussion for Lanun.

I'll give you some of them.

1) Try getting an US account. Much better contents and cheaper MS Points. You can Google it or ask any other LYN Xbox all timers that have 3 or more stars

2) Buy Gold member from some of the seller here. They are a lot cheaper than in the console or using credit card. Same goes for games too. Many nice seller here.

3) Not enough money to buy games? Head to Pasar Malam up there. Nice and cheap pre-owned games for sale. There are games for rent service too.

4) Take some time to understand about your console. E.g. In Malaysia, the consoles are from SG. Some games have region lock.

5) Oh... If you have a fast internet, you can watch Netflix or Hulu Plus for like RM60+ a month.

Pro : Better quality multiplatform game, usually slightly higher framerate than PS3 version
Cons: Xbox 360 playerbase in asia is small compared to PS3, so longer matchmaking. xbox live gold needs $$

Matchmaking..VERY SMALL..so it might take awhile to join a match. But if you're playing Black Ops 2, you might play with Japanese people or Taiwan or Hong Kong people..

Live needs subscription,no doubt about that. Xbox isn't flawless so as PS3. But if you pay, you'll get what you should get as a Xbox Player.

Dude, yes. As long you have the $$$, there are so many benefit lol.

Some top games got free access code worth 1600ms point more or less. If you decided that you won't be playing the online capability features, don't redeem it as should want to sell the game, it can get a higher price.

If you have an US account, you can turn your XBOX360 to an entertainment unit.


Yep matchmaking is slow but after the game started, it's all good. Lag is minimal somehow. I've played CODMW3 with my US friends last time with no issues. Anyway, just add all LYN member gamertag. Some games are very active.

There is nothing we can do about that Gold Live subscription. There are providing a great service after all. So while you at it, make the best out of the XBOX360.

I'm taking this opportunity to post one of my own question x) Regarding the controller, if I want to switch from a battery controller to a rechargeable controller, must I buy a new controller or is there a rechargeable battery pack where I can just switch it with the default battery pack?
