I'm not sure if this is a right place for me to post this , forgive me if i'm in the wrong section.



Current Setup :


Motherboard : GA-M55SLI-S4
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
Graphic Card: Leadtek GeForce 7600 GS (SLI)
Ram : Corsair Gaming Ram 800Mhz 2GB x 1
PSU : Diablotek PHD Series 550W

Stock HSF.

I was planning to make an overhaul in this rig. Which mean changing casing, hsf and also cable sleeving Any recommendation? Feel free to suggest , i just want this rig to look neat , although it's old but it work fine for video streaming / web browsing.


Budget is RM500 for overall. If possible would like to add some LED strip and sleeve the PSU cable . Please sifu's , give me some ideas

P/S : Ignore those dust and wordings, childhood times. LOL.

Will clean those dust when transfer-ing . And Fans will be change too .

what casing r u thinking of, to changing into?

nzxt have a nice looking and also good in price range. Sleeving n cable management will make ur rig looks different.

Currently still no idea in mind thought , but def i want a casing with window

For CPU Cooler , i was thinking using

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and also

Arctic Cooling F12 PWM x2 stick beside the cooler. Thanks to Torino.

Which is white looking cooler. And for casing i prefer white colour casing. Gonna do survey on how much would it cost for the cooler and also fans.

Thanks for the suggestion. I saw NZXT Phantom 410 is so nice ! But priced at RM359. Including postage would be RM4XX. Then would be out of my budget

yup lots of nice casing from nzxt, but the price is expensive.

A casing with window
Nzxt Source 210 (w) [not sure local shop got stock or not]
or
Corsair 300R windowed RM289 [Most shop have it now]

Yeah, that why i wanna sleeve the cable? I Think i gonna buy extension cable only. The PSU cable will route at the side panel, which remain unseen.

Aren't fit my taste

It's a bit hard to find a low budget casing with window and white color. Maybe buying the window case and paint it to white later on .
