He/she was "selling" his/her V3.

Both parties (me and him/her) agreed to do COD at KLCC yesterday (31st March 2006) at 2pm. I went there with my friend. Was raining over at my place so I had transport difficulties, so I messaged him/her and said that I'll be reaching there at 2:30pm.

2:25pm- He/she messaged me and said that he/she's already there

2:35pm- Reached there and messaged him/her.

Waited for about 10 mins, no replies, I called him/her. He picked up the phone, and I couldn't hear him/her, as his/her background was very noisy.

The he/she texted me, asking me whether I came alone, and what mobile phone I was using.

Replied him that I went with a friend and told him what mobile phone I was using.

The next reply I got from him/her was disappointing.



Will upload a picture of the message when I get a camera.

Point(s) to ponder: What was his motive? Does it matter if I went there alone or with friends? Does it matter what phone I was using? I sense a criminal thing going on here, so beware of this fella.

Well, also something that everyone can learn here.

Whenever you are going to do a COD with someone, don't go alone and try to bring at least a friend along.
And do your COD in a brighly-lit place with a decent crowd.

OT here: If the seller is sincere and honest, will he felt threaten if the buyer bring a bunch of friends there during COD session?

As it is, it is better for both seller and buyer to bring their friends when doing a COD.
This is because like in the above case, if a robbery were to happen, it could happen from buyer to seller as well, not just seller to buyer.

but maybe he takut u rob him ??

Probability is so high that this guy may rob you of your belongings since he asked this weird questions : alone or not & what phone you're using.

DFlo might be very lucky that the deal is not done because it might turned out to be a robbery.

Changes of weather and difficulties in getting transport may serve as a guidance/omen to prevent bad things from happen.Though might sounds superstitous,but at least look at the bright side.

I don't expect anyone to help me if something (robbery etc.) actually happens. It's a big risk for them to help me, they might just get themselves hurt (maybe even killed)! Seriously, if I were to witness a robbery scene, I doubt that I will go and help instantly, unless I have like a bunch of friends behind my back.

To justify trading conditions in LYN, it's not that bad actually. Uncle Chua here aka FMF@LPF is just one of them bad apples. I actually just gotten a PSP here and the seller was truly helpful. I was truly a PSP illiterate and he taught me the ropes ^^ . thanks. um.. forgotten your name.

Hopefully, people like this guy gets black listed. Even he allegedly claims he had a long record but it takes a trip to spill your milk. For sake of extra cash the deal goes to another guy. Which means in either way, someone is bound to get hurt / lost / no-showed.

Alot cases like CON cases is more Dngerous and as i know i dint get any deposit for just Avoid FFK. As i know FFK is not big deal but also is wrong anf fault for biz attitude and this wont happen againts.

Noted. FFK is not good at all for biz forever. so what im think is i already make myself to redo againt as all buyer are trusted me as im selling so far is no problem.

to seller, y dont try to look for another v3 sell to buyer again...
maybe u can offer a cheaper price bcos of the ffk problem, or provide others special benefits like give some free gift to buyer?

btw, to buyer, since the problem is happened, u cant get the things from seller is the fact. Maybe u can give the chance to seller to let him find the v3 to u again...

I think the issue now is not about the FFK, but rather the question from seller before stating that he sold the item to another person, as highlighted in blue by TS

Agreed with the point above, I just dun like the way how FMF@LPF push away all the questions by just saying

its more of like Chua thus far represents "FFK sellers", thus those who have experienced or understand these kind of sellers are posting their angry comments here. And the problem is not "whether you can trust him or not", its already trust given but broken into pieces. If you have paid enough attention to this thread, you should have noticed that everyone is basically asking the exact same question the TS asked in his 1st post, which was also the reason this thread appeared in the first place.
Of course, I believe seller could choose not to answer here and instead deal with TS directly and have TS to update the thread later, but that doesn't make the question a nonsense.

And if seller can take 1 year to realize this post, of course it's acceptable that TS took some time to realize that seller finally replied to his thread after 1 year, unless he's going to take another year to reply as well.

Personally I think we should stop flaming each other especially when none of us are involved in the case, or at least wait til both party are ready. No point for commenters flaming commenters mah
