i was tempted to buy the white before, but all my friends were telling me to get the black since the white case on black(titanium grey) phone isn't as nice as the black case..

Okay this might help some note 2 users here..
If you are facing a problem of screen rotation sometimes not working, then you have to reboot your phone, which of course is a doing which would cause detrimental effects by minimizing the life span of the phone.
I did some researching about this problem, and I found out that the best way to solve this problem, which in my case until now, a few days into it after performing this task still seems to work for me.
Here is it:

First you have to switch off your phone, remove battery cover, remove battery, remove sim card, and remove memory card. Basically remove everything, except the screws..

Then repeat the above steps, but in reverse. Switch it on and there you go, screen rotation would work like magic.
It seems that most note 2 users agreed that this is the method that works best for most people, and I am one of those users.

Hope this would help those users who faced this problem..

My suggestion would be the better battery stats (BBS), poweramp, Gsam battery monitor (If BBS too complicated), mxplayer, waze, airdroid, deep sleep battery saver, etc

My sister in law bought 1 fake Note 2 for RM700 and it comes with 4.1.1 and a quad core processor with 1.4Ghz and 1GB RAM. the phone looks 99% like the original Note 2. The most significant difference you can tell is by the SPEN. I suggest that you go to a reliable shop that has an original Note 2 and take out the SPEN take a good look at it. The fake SPEN does not look the same.

I think the most prominent feature that distinguish the reals from the fakes is the SIRIM sticker..

hhahaha.... this is enlarged version of Note 2 ... not note 3 .. it is note 8 ... samsung samsung why put the same series name la... should stick with the name of NOTE for phablet and tab for any model bigger than 7'

Well all, we've seen how tot31 's contributions have made him get noticed by Samsung. He's also had quite a few contributions on page 1 tagged with his name.

So let's get in the community spirit. We're lucky that Samsung is doing a community outreach this way, so it's a win-win situation. I mean, Samsung is known to listen to their customers instead of some other really high handed outfits we-know-best-users-are-iDiots-to-be-led-around.

Even the Xcover2 has got a REMOVABLE BATTERY with an IP67 rating (hint - the other hot sexy model has an IP57 rating WITHOUT A REMOVABLE BATTERY). Give me functionality any day over aesthetics.

May I ask,  my fren got a note 2, he says it takes very long time for him to uninstall some small apps,  while before it takes much for much faster for him to uninstall big apps,  any ideas?

Normally banks will call you before any cc transaction to confirm it.
I once kena before where the transaction was done without my concern and someone was using my cc to buy stuff online.
Called the bank and blamed them all the way. End up they had to refund 1k to me. Phew.
