You can try it but i believe all anti-theft app are the same. If your phone is rooted you can make it to survive factory reset. But nothing will be able to survive a rom flash. You can use it to delete your data or try to trace and scare the thief but once a new rom is flash its bye bye.

Until our telco will cooperate and block/trace imei of stolen phones, there really is nothing much that can be done.

My Kingmax 32GB C10 died on me just now. Not detected by the phone and cannot format in windows.
Does Kingmax provide lifetime warranty? Or should I just go and buy Sandisk? Luckily I could save my photos from the card before it went kaput.

What you mean by edit software data? There are loads of file explorer app in the market and the phone comes with MyFiles as well already.

I dont really understand your question. Are you looking for something similar like es file explorer or root explorer?
