hey guys, wanna ask something

a friend of mine wanna upgrade his gtx 470 to a gtx 680

thing is, he wanna do a triple monitor setup

so i wanna ask whether

- a gtx 680 4GB be able to handle it

- SLI is best for this route
* if so would a double 670 be able to handle the job

- and can the gtx 470 be used as a physx card in case he cant sell it

thanks

SLI is recommended. See these reviews on 5760x1200.

Wouldn't recommend a power hungry card for PhysX. Get GTS450-GTX650 Ti instead.

1 titan. Since he afford a Titan I guess no worries in purchasing next Titan in case. There's a discussion regarding SLI GTX 680 vs GTX 690 vs Titan back few pages. Useful reading.

ooo, then i'll take a look at that

but a 690>titan in gaming generally right?

For FPS, yeah. But again, not sure the gaming experience because I never own both. I think you should read from this post:
