IIRC ideal tech posted in their facebook group that leadtek 780 priced @ RM2899 but cant seem to find it anymore, not sure if they edited or removed, only info I can find now is "Price: RM2x99*"

Maybe they got the pricing wrong (well hope they did), I guess will need to wait till next week until we know the pricing for sure. But if its priced anything above rm2.5k, then the cheapest option is probably buying from newegg  blush.gif
*
if from newegg, how much total cost bro? i think best is EVGA since its global warranty eh?

its priced at USD$650, so after converting etc should be around RM2.4K provided they taxed 10% on graphic card. If no tax its even cheaper.

You will still need to send back to US to claim for warranty, so you will need to pay for shipping fee to US. Thats a risk you take when buying items from US.
*
if local market priced around 2.3k, i think its quite ok considering the warranty hassle avoided.

ok stock max is at 1.15 without throttling is 1149 because of tdp at 106. but max stable is 1188 at 1.15v is 1188 for mine
then with overvoltage +38.

i get overclocks from 1149-1228mhz on gaming flux between that.

mem clock tested. heaven easy at 7ghz but stable i actually 6400mhz.

so hitting a tdp limit here.

no point.
wont make a difference unless they change the bios to increase the tdp limit. same issue for titan.
the stock cooler is cool and very silent.

and u know where i stand with gaygay. rather die than take their product.

the best chances of good bins are evga overclocked versions and zotac amps. so more too bad zotac no more.
but zotac would be pricey as zotac principal only allows sales of game bundle here in MY last time.
*
so no use buy the custom version? just get the stock reference version?

I got a quotation by newegg MY.

EVGA 03G-P4-2781-KR GeForce GTX 780 Video Card
http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Prod...m=9B-14-130-916

According to the price stated in Newegg, the product price is currently $ 649.99.

After applying a conversion rate of 3.1, it will be RM 2015 .

Shipping and handling charges from U.S. to designated location for this product is RM 85.

Therefore FINAL total product pricing is RM 2100.

A 20% discount on shipping and handling fees will be applied with a purchase of 2 or more items.

Let's say if sent for RMA, the shipping cost back to USA would cost estimate from RM80 – 100, while Newegg Malaysia will absorb the cost of delivering the product back to Malaysia.
*
isnt EVGA warranty issues go straight to EVGA factory in Taiwan? i think you meant the one you enquire is under EVGA US, so warranty send back to US right.

No, I'm referring to purchasing from Newegg MY CPP program which will need you to send back the faulty card back to Newegg MY. Then Newegg MY will send back to Newegg US for RMA.
*
ok2. so newegg MY is at MY, send to them first including cost to send item back to US? apart from the extra cost, that dont sound so hard, except more time consuming only.

from non-reference 680 going to normal 770 is not worth it IMO. yes its cheap, but in future, if new cards come out, the 770 price will go down much lower, and to get the higher end model, need to fork out more top up cash.

i say, those on 680 non reference, blow a bit more top up and go straight to 780 for proper performance increase and a bit future proof in pricing.

Yeah, the slight increase really isn't much. If you want and upgrade, might as well go all out.
I'm planning to get the EVGA GTX770 Classified when it comes out. For the looks EVGA packs, I'm willing to risk the RMA hassle.

having a 680 is not worthy to get 700 series.
it is not like 680 can't keep up with current games with high quality graphic setting. biggrin.gif

my hand already so itchy to put up my dcu2 top 680 and get the 780 ref. aduh, upgrading bug hitting me hard... rclxub.gif

if you have GTX580 then upgrade to GTX770/780 is somehow worth, but from GTX680 to GTX770/780 i don't think so. just my personal point of view only. of course if money isn't the issue then do whatever you like smile.gif

im already skipping haswell and was planning to blow some cash on a new gpu. think i will wait for a month to see how things go with the 780, maybe someone here will be selling his used one. laugh.gif if not, i will very likely skip everything in this years generation lineup and get a complete new system next coming gen, including gpu. hmm.gif
