It's alive and doing well. The latest game released utilizing Physx is Borderlands 2.
I'd like to point out that PhysX is a part of Nvidia CUDA platform for GPGPU. Not just for playing kiddie games.

You missed the fact that Nvidia GPUs also supports OpenCL and DirectCompute too. Not just Physx. LMAO

Absolutely.

I don't find that surprising. Some buy Nvidia cards not to play games but to use it for GPGPU computing such as F@H.

So? Just build a bigger, higher end rig.
Save 500 a month x 12 + year end bonus can get a nice upgrade.

I'm tempted to get a Titan right now but would wait and see. AMD has yet to launch their HD7990 and have plans to launch something by this year as stated by Devon Nekechuk in their recent teleconference.

Nvidia isn't going to let AMD steal the show without a fight. I'm hoping for a GK110 dualie card. Perhaps Asus will launch Mars III with GK110.

I don't think marketing plays a large role. Give me 5 good & valid reasons why I should choose a top of the line Radeon instead of a Geforce.

I'm waiting for GTX790 to be released.
