Sooooooo gonna test it =D

Haha, for me I'm so gonna buy it provided it has no wifi/cellular deathgrip issues and the 4 ultrapixels camera does not underperform based on expectations biggrin.gif

End of April is still very far off. I wonder if shops like satugadget and directd would have stocks by next week?

I remember seeing a previous post from a user on lowyat about having a HTC One training on 4th of March since he is an employee at one of the authorised retail stores.

As usual, Malaysia always follow Singapore's backside in terms of releasing new phones and technologies.

Well, if it makes u feel better, all 3 telcos in Singapore retracted their statements and are currently not selling the HTC ONE at the IT show tongue.gif

New review is up from the UK!!! biggrin.gif

It's a bit harsh, but the reviewer says that the HTC ONE wipes the floor with the Xperia Z tongue.gif

Hahaha, nice smile.gif

A lil' bit cheeky, and definitely daring. But I think it will pay off. Imagine those journalists who experience the ZOE function, then the IR blaster, and then touches the awesome quality build of the HTC ONE. Whilst inside, they see the same functions on the GS4 and are met with... Well a phone that resembles more like a Samsung Galaxy S 3 S kinda body like how apple did with their 3G and 3GS, 4 and 4G tongue.gif

wonder should i dump the droid dna to this or not.... sad.gif

I was already sold on the HTC ONE. But now, even more poison. I knew about the slow motion and the ZOE. But what I didn't know was that you can stitch photos together from burst shot and watching the slow motion playback makes that clip stand out so much more biggrin.gif

QUOTE(LordDenning @ Mar 15 2013, 05:58 PM)
a recent and good example would be the iPhone 5. Very very easily scratched.
*
Assuming you know who is Lord Denning. You should live up more to his name smile.gif

Do some research online on the toughness of the HTC ONE's build quality. Most if not all reviewers who complained about the iphone 5's aluminium being scratched easily were also worried about the same issue when they received the HTC ONE. They however, have found that the HTC ONE is much much more resistant to scratches and scuffs as compared to the iphone 5. One reviewer even went to the extent of banging his test unit on the table the moment he unboxed his HTC ONE. The result was that it looks and sounds solid.

The chamfered edges on the iphone 5 was also an issue. But again, most reviewers if not all, have mentioned that the chamfered edges on the HTC ONE looks and feels to be of a more robust design and construct.

So there you have it smile.gif

btw - I know how fragile the iphone 5 is. My friend was so excited about her iphone 5 but it...... BENT within 2 weeks of usage. She complained and got a new replacement unit, and is currently happy about her iphone 5 smile.gif

Bro, don't poison me any further.  i thought of using the scuff-prone aluminium issue and the late availability issue to justify my possible purchase of S4. Now you sway me back again to ONE. I will be sleepless tonight thinking about it  rclxub.gif

Haha, it MIGHT just arrive next week. Not that late or long bro smile.gif

I find this statement to ring true. The part about Samsung having monopoly over android. With Apple, well iOS is their operating system. But with Android there's more than just Samsung. But it looks as though Samsung is engulfing the whole android pie. Competition is always good for the consumers.

Hope HTC, Sony, LG and Motorola improves their performances this year smile.gif

The moment stock arrives for the online sellers like directd, satu gadget and seven mobile, how many of you are gonna buy it straightaway? I'm 95% sold on this, just awaiting stocks to arrive but within a reasonable selling price tongue.gif
