From the examples you quoted, there isn't any samples that once you zoom the photo, it is not clear.
So, why make judgement so early?

And of course, the most important thing is I dont think HTC will release a camera that capture a pic that is totally a crap when zooming when they really depends on this phone to recover their company's fortunes that dipped terribly in 2012.
That's why I say Smartphone CPU is not the same as Laptop CPU.
Laptop have heatsinks, Smartphone got???

LoL, i can see the pimple on the girl's face but not in the iphone5 picture.

For me, I value photo quality more than zooming details.

For smartphone CPU, it's means total processing power is 1.9Ghz.

1.9Ghz shared by 4 cores

If each core running at 1.9Ghz, can really go fry hotdogs edy.

This is not true, quad core 1.9ghz not mean total processing power is 1.9ghz, it can from core 0 to core 3 goes upto 1.9ghz. It depend on the processor configuration.

Increasing of 200mhz on same processor will not increase much performance in real life usage, only in benchmark you will notice it.

I dont think Xperia Z have this features.

Samsung might be worrying now also on how to response to these great features found on the HTC One with its S4.

the object remove function looks cool, but I wonder how good would it be when a casual user uses it.

very true.

Thing is, all this shots by manufacturers have been awesome, even for the galaxy s1. But once it gets to the hands of the user, people will start complaining saying its crappy and all. Its all in how the person holding the camera takes the pic. If someone really wants to take pics easily and yet dont wanna play around with controls, go get a Sony NEX tongue.gif

This is why I have said to many of my friends.

Samsung only good at marketing, their phones really lacks features and innovation.
If HTC is good in marketing this year to promote all their features, software and hardware, I believe Samsung will be in dead-meat.

You see, many of my colleague believe Korea's products must be damn good vs Taiwan (China) brand.

Some of my girl frens only know Samsung is the only manufacturer for Android, and some even worse... dunno HOX or Butterfly exist in this world. So, the only phone to buy is only SAMSUNG... doh.gif

I'm using HOX+ and Butterfly but i'm not obsessive bout HTC products. I'm also have Note2 and used to have S3..and again i'm not obsessive products. I simply buy whichever product i like. It just something i notice on how ppl/fans/user trying very hard to push their beloved product into somebody else throat

my point is, htc gave up on mp war. that is right, but the downsizing they took is too big, even at 0% zoom, i can see that the ip5 camera is sharper.

I don't get it. HTC One appears to store more details on the photo compared to iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 is more contrasty and brighter, which can be easily fixed with a simple lightroom program.

So from my eyes, I'll say HTC One appears to have better camera and take better pictures than iPhone 5.
