HTC one drop test. Ouch!

need a drop test which is screen facing down ... wonder what would be the effect ...
i feel drop test should cover screen, back and corners ... instead of random hold and drop

I know it standby will loss to s4, but I don't think it's standby will loss to iPhone 5, if you own a iPhone before u will know that iPhone standby suck, there is no way the one standby lower than iPhone 5, as I am using butterfly now with sense 5, standby for 8 hours while I am sleeping with 0% battery drop, with WiFi and push notification on all the time.

Somehow I feel the review is bias..

overall, no matter how to screen crack, the phone still can use

watching the drop test make me feel like 100% i will get casing for this babe

drop test are hard to watch no matter which phone they are using..

it feels like such a waste..like watching an abuse case on video.
i dont know about you guys...but my previous nokia phone, has never been dropped before by me...only by my dog who decided to pull my charging wire while it was refilling.

my current htc one x has never drop before as well..dropping phone has never been an issue for me...my first phone many years ago was also not dropped by me personally..

ouch, can't bare to watch them dropping this htc one.

After watch the drop test video i am confirm that imma gonna buy Otterbox for HTC One to ensure maximum protection.

Saw first drop speaker grill aluminum drop of huh. Seems like its a fragile phone

I don't see big deal with standby performance. Even my one x standby 7 hours drop 1% only with 3g on for whatsapp etc. And the one x is using a Tegra 3 which is much more power hungry compared to XZ and butterfly. XZ and butterfly using same s4 pro anyways so what's so surprising. I don't know why XZ users rave about the standby time if the butterfly is rooted and flashed with proper kernel + uv I'm sure can get even better results.

For my butterfly stock without root or flash battery quite good if do solo task but if open music + whatsapp + browsing internet + download waw battery drink like water.

If i'm not mistaken.. for the one x there is a power saving companion core (the fifth core)..

Did you all saw that actually HTC One the speaker is not that big. HTC drill so many holes on top and btm but the speaker is just half the size of the speaker grill hole. See :-

That why. HTC one have better talktime, browsing and video play back, and much much better standby time than iPhone 5, but gsmarena gave them lower battery score?

I think the way they test endurance is one day they do 1 hour browsing, 1 hour calls and 1 hour video. Then let the phone idle till the next 24 hours and repeat. So probably around 48 hour mark then the phone already dead but SIV last till 63 hours. Why it can last this long has to be the extra 300mAH and a better idle consumption. Sometimes the battery indicator also got problem one. You idle long time then see battery percentage still the same but when you use it drops very fast compared to fresh charge and no idle time + continuous usage.

and when i reboot my phone, the battery sometime will increase 1-3% too if i off it for overnight

As long as it's the loudest stereo speakers phone right now that beats the flagship S4, iphone 5 by miles.... who cares?

And it's a design. It's like how cars have extra bodykits. Besides, it would be kinda weird if the speakers on the top are of a normal strip while the speakers on the bottom are just a short left strip. It would be uneven.
