QUOTE(CrankEd @ Feb 28 2013, 01:57 PM) True, but seriously, if only they have dedicated button for camera, it would be wonderful isn't it? the touch screen to snap often fails at times (autofocus fails) , and then if you want to click on the snap button, i always accidentaly press at wrong place makes it focus at wrong place wahahhaha.. oh well, otherwise the phone is perfect, they should have also implemented the ip57 for HTC One, as abit of splash proof, quite cool... Htc zoe is something different. Plus on sense 4+ there are option to select auto capture, whereby after u click where you want to focus and it will auto capture after focusing. its called "touch to capture" sense has alot of minor added UI which makes things very easy. Those who have experience with sense will know. It's the most complete skinned UI on android.

QUOTE(CrankEd @ Feb 28 2013, 03:01 PM) haha! well, u can use it for taking multiple shots right..? just like u said its made for sports, but how many of us use it for sports bro? we all take photos for fun , and etc, i somehow feel it could be a great add-on feature, like how other phone has HTC is doing the right thing. We don't want to see 72 types of duck faces on facebook. I use burst shot for capturing fast moving object like my dog running, trying to take cute baby photos and anything that tries to move fast.

QUOTE(CrankEd @ Feb 28 2013, 03:21 PM) Well, true in a way, meh, it supposed to be worth of money for what we gonna pay later on for this beast, anyway , shouldn't think that only duck faces will use it, eventually , family gathering where u want to be in the pic as well, few burst shots , wont help eh? thats just an example though. Btw , 20 burst shots should be enough 72 is too imba lolol... Got auto smile detection that will auto capture pic mah. On my HTC one x we can take photos with Bluetooth earpiece by triple clicking. Or you may opt for cookoo watch to take pic. By April should have the android app for it dee Why 2 megapixel if can take 4 ultra pixel shots? Personal preference I guess. I don't like taking pic with front camera. For skype only This post has been edited by douglas_tong: Feb 28 2013, 04:14 PM

Rrp is 2299 but hopefully those few stores here bring in cheaper lo. I was hoping for the price to drop 1.9k before getting it.
We pay such premium price just for a phone. Haih...

It was reported that last year samsung spent 200bil on marketing/advertisement and pr.
no source cause i read that up on flipboard..not sure which article. should be the verge/engadget/cnet.
It's true the korean government aid samsung. Good government support its own people. Malaysia on the other hand.....swallow whatever big cooperates that are doing well. Itu sebab air asia hilang.

QUOTE(jcksn81 @ Mar 1 2013, 02:32 PM) does anyone concern about dust might trap inside the phone speaker hole ? IF im not wrong. they call it micro holes/something. back in htc one x, they claimed that water won't be able to get through. Which i find quite true to an extend. My friend's htc one s was submerge on a bag with spilled water, the backside of the phone was exposed with water and till today no problem. if water cannot get through, dust will probably not as well. so far my htc one x no problem. no dust trapped

QUOTE(Tsukiyomi001 @ Mar 2 2013, 01:24 AM) i know lots of ppl (girls) who will love burst mode for the front facing camera... imagine all the duckfaces!! now you can even capture the transition of duckface1 to duckface2 to duckfaceN!!! XD spouting nonsense here ._. good companies don't need gov support... imagine if taiwan back up HTC with the country's resources, HTC won't be having low exposure anymore... but that's call reliance Its true good companies don't need support. But good companies will attract government support.

QUOTE(redlyfs @ Mar 8 2013, 01:06 PM) I don't understand why Samsung insist on using cheap plastic for all their flagships read it up on verge, it's because it's easier to mass produce. iphone aluminium body, cost higher, production slower.

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 8 2013, 04:30 PM) oh hai, so that is your n8 ------------- anyway i forget i saw this link from which android thread... http://www.chiphell.com/thread-701868-1-1.htmltop HTC ONE, btm iphone 5. Auto mode, flash off. judge from comment, some said ONE got fake bokeh? sorry their chinese internet slang level is over 9000 that is the result of lower aperture. but that does seem to look abit fake... like camera lens kena smudged.

why are we so concern of "atas pagar" people? i only care about availability and quality and pricing of the phone. what others decide not my problem. i think both samsung and htc are good phone. but in terms of built, i think this time htc wins hands down. it's unlikely samsung will opt for aluminium based on their mass demand and will most slightly stick to it's "cheap" plastic feel.

i hope s-off is fast for this phone. with all the previous bad customer service denying one x warranty for hardware issues, i'm gonna get my htc one from seng heng. pay a little extra more so i can get them to exchange for me instead.
too many cases where one x was denied warranty cause its unlocked.
