I don't get the two horizontal lines at the back of the phone. If the body of the phone is one piece of metal, what is the function of the horizontal lines?

It does not help the case of Android OEMs chasing after the iPhone's design. At least the two-tone design of the iPhone 5 is so glass panels can be used to aid the radio transmission.

in b4 iFag. I'm not.

Looking forward to UltraPixels though. Less megapixels = less noise, I like!

HTC US having a marketing programme. Those who had old HTC model can get a USD 100 rebate on purchasing the HTC One. What about Droid DNA users and butterfly users? :'(

Thanks. I reread the write up by anandtech and no, the injected plastic strip is used to insulate and segregate the surface of the panel to be used for antennae (instead of inside the plastic strip). Still does not explain the design decision. There are many ways to construct the pathways for antennae, they just have to go with the one that looks like a certain competitor's product doh.gif
