QUOTE(sexbomb @ Feb 20 2013, 09:30 AM) Source from Wired - "We took the HTC One out to a dimly-lit restaurant and it produced far better, and cleaner, images that the Samsung Galaxy SIII we had with us. The HTC One’s photos were much clearer, and you could plainly see everyone in them. Photos snapped with the Galaxy’s 8MP camera didn’t look any sharper than the One’s 4MP images. The only advantage to the Samsung’s snapshots was you could zoom in tighter on a subject’s dark face." |

QUOTE(Piccolo @ Feb 20 2013, 10:20 AM) Source from Wired - means the One takes better pics in low light environment, but does it suffer in comparison to the s3 in well lid conditions? im guessing the 8mp will be more detailed as compared to the 4mp One (well lid)"We took the HTC One out to a dimly-lit restaurant and it produced far better, and cleaner, images that the Samsung Galaxy SIII we had with us. QUOTE(sexbomb @ Feb 20 2013, 10:24 AM) too technical i no faham which components are better in comparison if u c sensor size & pixel size, htc have the advantages, in basic explanation means the One takes better pics in low light environment, but does it suffer in comparison to the s3 in well lid conditions? im guessing the 8mp will be more detailed as compared to the 4mp One (well lid) since bigger sensor size by 0.01" and able to capture more light by 0.25 microns so u will notice a more detail & brighter photos but the downsize is the sharpness, bcauz of 8mp & 4mp 8mp*1.75 microns is more thn 4mp*2 microns, thus resulting samsung s3 photo will be sharper thn to the feature of HTC one, optical stabilization is better thn the digital thus resulting a more stable grab whn shooting. thn HDR video which provide a balance exposure between bright n dark area example of HDR video does |

now Im not arguing about htc's ultrapixels feature..
I am arguing about layman POV about the 4MP-in-expensive-flagship-phone in the world of many people believe large megapixel is good. "ape nih? 4MP je? baik amik Xperia Ion" This what my friend told me after showed them One's spec this can hurt htc's sale a bit.. htc need to clarify this thing out to the masses.. or.. in the future, if I see someone using htc One.. I automatically assume them as |

one thing to remember guys, when comparing pictures by different phone, please view it on 3rd device, pc for example.
because some screen, tends to produce better color and enhance the image . so view them on same display to have good n fair comparison |
