QUOTE(Cabinda @ Jul 19 2016, 04:03 PM) From cyberjaya/putrajaya station no direct route gua.. Same like klia ERL.. So from cyberjaya, you can go Iskandar Puteri custom then to spore.. Same goes to the other station like seremban, muar all check out at Iskandar Puteri, if you want express, probably need to go bandar Malaysia.. Like ERL, you need go KL sentral for klia express That's my understanding too. Unless they make two stops (Bandar Malaysia and Putrajaya Sentral) before nonstop to Iskandar Puteri/ SG.

QUOTE(Cabinda @ Jul 19 2016, 04:09 PM) [attachmentid=7120889][attachmentid=7120889] Thaniks for the information, Cabinda It seems that for Cyberjaya/ Putrajaya, it will make more sense to take MRT2 to Bandar Malaysia to take the express HSR to SG. Or, you can take the transit HSR PJ => BM before board into the express HSR to SG

Within 10years... China has completed 19,000km of hsr network https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-speed_rail_in_ChinaIf malaysia-sg has fund and resources, hsr can be completed in 3years if they wanted to. Bear in mind unlike constructing high rises, rail is on ground. You can have as many workers and resources to finish the job. You can build the 6 stations simultaneously.

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Jul 20 2016, 10:01 PM) The gomen is more likely to award the main contract to mmcc/gamuda than the Chinese. how long did they take to complete 2nd track from ipoh to Butterworth? MMC/Gamuda has done well with construction of MRT1.. whether any operational hiccup in future... we would know very soon. Similarly to any mega projects in Malaysia, any foreigners need to partner with local partners to bid for the jobs.
