QUOTE(willyboy88 @ May 11 2016, 01:25 PM) hahaha...it's like saying who dare to ride a jumbo jet with 200-300 people in it and fly 8 hours across the ocean 60 years ago. the Hyperloop technology is too new. It need time to work out the engineering issues etc. Good thing is..it could be a reality sooner than people anticipate. http://www.engadget.com/2016/01/29/what-yo...bout-hyperloop/20-40 years from now...a hyperloop ride from KL to Singapore within 20-30 minutes could be a reality. Just like the possibility of your car automatically drive you from KL - Singapore which can be done right now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yCAZWdqX_Ymaybe I can't ride, because too old. my child maybe that time have chance to ride it

QUOTE(willyboy88 @ May 11 2016, 08:51 PM) In Malaysia ....maybe have to wait until our grandkids lol BUT for 'old people' like us, it is more suitable to have a 'Knight Rider' auto driving car to drive us automatically or semi automatically along North South Highway from KL to Singapore. It can be done today already. Imagine driving 'hands free' and 'leg free' along North South Highway. Scary isnt it? LOL hahah Malaysia always very late in new technology Auto Driving Car is good. but u know Malaysian style. it's gonna be very risky

QUOTE(waja2000 @ May 18 2016, 01:12 PM) no need to believe that, MRT1 project progress good, no delay. even can open early if they want. no why MRT2 will delay. MRT tender already awarded, project will start as schedule in July. unless BN loss in 2018 election. hahah how BN can lose the election in 2018 when there's upcoming electoral boundary redelineation for parliamentary and state seats

The rail system developed by China is internationally recognised as the safest in the world, said general manager of China Railway Sheng Guangzu. “Our rail system is safe and reliable ... according to the UIC (International Union of Railways) based in France, China’s accident per one billion kilometre is the lowest in the world,” he said after meeting with local Chinese community leaders here. The UIC is an international rail transport body that sets new world standards for railways, its safety and security. http://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2016...t-in-the-world/

South Korea will be presenting the most suitable project cost and planning in direct talks with the Malaysian government in an effort to secure the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) project. It will also be offering technology transfer by mid-June, said its Minister of Land Infrastructure and Transportation, Kang Ho-in. Having experience in HSR implementation, he said South Korea was willing to share its technology with other developing countries. http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v8/bu/newsb....php?id=1251810

QUOTE(waja2000 @ Jun 3 2016, 05:06 PM) I personally prefer china hsr. seems like everyone bet on China HSR technology. they like the clear winner QUOTE(waja2000 @ Jun 3 2016, 05:14 PM) If see overall picture, that for sure. is very importance infrastructure for both country. helping future grow economic, tourism, property, transportation. reduce Airport congestion。 also importance helping sub-city economic grow like Seremban, Melaka, Muar, Batu Pahat. true. HSR is for "helping out" others sub-cities with positive economic effects
