Booked mine from Bermaz PJ (2.5 meteor Grey). Loan approved RHB 2.37 (7 years).

Test drive the 2.5 yesterday. Everything is great except 1 thing which is not up to my expectation - the pick up power that I expecting from the 2.5 engine. Sorry this is my first time to own the D segment car. Is this the characteristic of the D segment car? I am comparing the feel with my Peugeot 308 (1.6 turbo). The adrenaline of the pick up is not there? Didn't manage to test the power in high speed as the traffic is quite heavy during the testing.

Another issue is the synthesize engine sound from the speaker. To me I dont like it. I like to enjoy the quietness during the driving. The SA guaranteed me that the sound can be deactivated. Hope this is true?

Hv any of you compared this M6 with the Passat (sport) & 508 in term of pick up? Any how I dont like the Passat look. As for the 508, I dont want double trouble when come to parts & problem as I hv 308 already.

Wife & kids sit at the back like the comfort & space! The kids been noon stop asking why Papa cant take home the test unit!

Good choice of colour bro. At first I booked white. But after see the actual car. I just love the crome lining contrast with grey colour.

Will get my wife to drive the 308 & I drive the M6 to race!

Same here as I quite disappointed with the Bermaz pricing. But me have been searching for the right D segment car for the past 2 years. None hv convinced me to buy but this M6 did. Of course when U compare the price with Teana / Camry U will feel the pain. But I cant imagine myself to drive the 'Uncle Look' car lo. So dont compare la. Go for it if U love it & can afford it more importantly. Is like when U know U met ur wife

No Bro. The 308 is just 1 yrs old. Dont want to know also. Later feel the pain. It will still be my alternative ride when I want to feel the turbo!

K5 look really stunning. I love the silver colour especially! But still skeptical about Korean engine technology. After reading about the skyactive technology. I've decided to wait for it.
Just found out from my cousin on K5 FC. Full tank RM120 doing around 600+ only.

My vios is G specs, 2004, 250K mileage. The Bermaz panel quoted me RM31K.

Impressive Guess individual hv different style of driving & different FC.

Base on this data, it is 20 cent / km for K5. If the M6 FC claim is correct (8L/100km) for 2.5. Then it is 16 cents/km. For 2.0 it will be 6L/100 so it is 0.12cents/km. Anyway it is depend very much on one driving style lah. If not mistaken, CX5 kaki is doing around 650 - 700KM for full tank.

To dealer or direct buyer?

I just done my normal service for my vios. Change full synthetic oil 4L & oil filter. That cost me around RM310. So the M6 service is reasonable?
Hw come the cost for 5 year is lower for 2.5 version?

My 308 normal service cost me around RM500. The oil already cost me RM300 plus

Last year June the dealer quoted me 40k. But in Recent feb only 31k. It is huge value dropped. I expect it around 35k. Dealer claim that the new Almera has caused the drop of vios value.
