I agree..The floating touch is cool and it seems like more to a bragging software..as i see that it has a delay..so not really practical..the part where u can scroll by tilting is also nice but i have 1 question. Imagine u are not sitting or not standing steadily, will the screen just scroll itself?

Also,the part where it tracks ur eyeball and pause the video for you when you are not looking is a little extra imo..might eat up more battery juice and it does have a delay according to some hands on video,the lady had to repeat doing the look away from the screen before the video is paused...

Maybe the floating touch is useful when you are eating and dirtied your hand?? then you can still use your phone..

when note 3 is out,then you would wish for s5,then note 4 and so on..we will never win the race against the pace of smartphone technology,so the thumb rule for buying smartphone is just to choose whatever phone you like,buy it and settle down with it.
Or if u have alot of extra cash to burn,then just change phone once a new phone is out.

in the end i think there wont be any difference to the naked eye...only benchmark is better but in real life usage its omre or less the same.

agree..although htc one design is superb and premium...but im worried about its aluminium body..how come nobody did a drop test on it?

I dropped my dad's ip5 on the road once... and the aluminium chipped off..that time i adviced my dad to not use a cover as it spoils the beauty and he agreed...fortunately the place where it is chipped off can be covered by simply using a cover and he chose a slim cover so the thinness is still there..

Felt so bad about it..

So i doubt ill get htc one because of its aluminium body...
Either get s4 or xperia z..will be waiting for a drop test for s4 as i have already see many drop test for xperia z and its holding up fine..

TRUE,I agree!!! but i would want sony's camera with a mix of htc and samsung camera software as well as post editing software...sony's post rendering sucks as theres a problem with the compression ratio of sony... not to mention sony's waterproof and htc's sound quality...

yes ive seen the bent ip5 yet its still fully functional..

How would you aim with it?

what im saying is that it is definitely not possible with the current technology in s4 now..as the smart pause and smart scroll thingy is based on the front camera registering your eyeball( i.e. whether it is looking at the screen or not) it cannot tell where the eye is looking at on the screen..

besides that,there are news that this technology will come to the s3 as well..so if it does come to s3,we can conclude that it is not hardware dependent..just need a front camera and you can have smart scroll and smart pause..

i seriously doubt the game which detects eye motion is gona be here in the next 2-3 years...definitely wont be in this s4...
the screen size is only 5 ", for the smart pause to work,you have to actually turn your whole head away from the screen..
One way i can think of making this work is by using the face detection which is already present in cameras,and as you turn your head away,it doesnt detect the face and pause the video..

All in all,i dont think the front camera is detecting the eyeball and eyeball tracking is definitely not going to happen,not to mention precise tracking for aiming in fps games in such a small screen..

they are just stating about the potential and the possibility..and if you could see the demo in smart pause,the demonstrator actually turned his head about 90 degress away from the screen..so i doubt it is gona work on the s4,maybe it will work in the near future where new eye tracking sensors are made small enough to fit on the phone..

as for the dirt 3 demo video and the eye tribe thingy,i think it is managable cause of the big screen and the wide sensors..

as for the smart scroll,it would be more reasonable for me if they say they detect the face with the camera and as you tilt the device, they detect the face going 1 direction and scroll the device or maybe they do it with the gyro sensor?

Think it is the anti shatter sheet which is on top of the scratch resistant glass which got scratched..the anti shatter sheet is not scratch proof..

there goes s4 sales for the custom community..down the drain...

But ppl who dont play with their phone too much or just love using stock will still get the phone..esp those rich aunties or teenage girls who just use it for fb,insta,twitter,whatsapp,etc...

i think give free they oso dont want..its such a headache to them compare to other manufacturer..
unless they share source code..
