 Lumia 820 cannot detect Unifi's wifi, not all Unifi wifi but just some of it..

Hi Nokia Lumia user,

did you guys faced this issue before?
my Lumia 820 cannot detect my house unifi, but it is working with office's unifi & even neighbor unifi wifi!
It's so ridiculous...

No, it's not. Depending on manufacturer, our phone's wifi chip isn't made to support all frequencies.

To resolve this, it's simple. Log on to your router, go to wifi settings, change channel from auto (or whatever current number is) to 1, which is the most common channel that's supported by almost every device. Do that and report back.

There is no unifi wireless signal but wifi signal from your router. So, the only device which can cause the problem is your router. Try re-configure your router wifi signal setting.

agree with jonchai...
when i was using Mozart, it wont detect my house wifi, whenever it is using channel 13...but other devices like ipod can detect it...
since then i change the settings from auto to a fixed channel, then i can detect my house wifi with no problem...

P/s: So surprise Lumia 820 was much smoother than my Note2, though the app still very limited

I heard Unifi having problem tonight.

Otherwise, as mentioned, change the WiFi router channel. Any channel from 1 - 11 should work. Delete the saved network from your hp, restart hp and search again. Best of luck.
