QUOTE(shevakai @ Mar 19 2013, 11:58 PM) So ON ya...i wait you at 'old' place tumpang ya QUOTE(brainz07 @ Mar 20 2013, 12:23 AM) if gear engaged in "3" or "2", does it mean brake by gear?? is that will make the lifetime of gearbox turn down?? by all mean, down high and slope is HIGHLY recommended to use low gear (to drag your momentum, the low gear is MEANT to me on slow unless you are doing touge, then u can try higher gear (make sure you really have the skill and your car handling can do first)....STILL brake is needed all time...i know it will more safety by enganging low gear as in karak highway long2 ago signboard, "jalan curam, gunakan gear rendah" (if i'm not mistaken la) Errr...u never drive up or down to Genting before ? QUOTE(empty-ball @ Mar 20 2013, 07:25 AM) make sure you can come ampang area first.... |

Just DIY completed 2 left door sound proof...minor work but challenging, took about 2 hrs to complete...added a sheet of sound deadening material behind the speaker (on the door skin), now from outside can hear there is reduce of decibel....(still loud), but inside the bass is more solid...

QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Mar 24 2013, 08:08 AM) Anyone using simota or k&n drop in filter? Better pickup same time slight increase of FC but after sometime you will feel nothing once you used to it.Which one better? Is it really help on performance and fc? Any side effect? Appreciate your advice... QUOTE(zerohunter @ Mar 24 2013, 10:23 AM) I won't call it upgrade instead alternative map software for your HU but bear in mind when you use Papago your HU will be lag if you trying to run other apps (e.g radio) QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Mar 24 2013, 02:39 PM) It is simple. Create a ppg folder in your MicroSD card. Copy all the software including the exe into ppg. Please don't give wrong information if you not sure how to do.Then goto HU, choose App and there is an option for you to select new shortcut point to ppg exe instead of SpeedNavi. QUOTE(zerohunter @ Mar 24 2013, 02:45 PM) Like epo said, check back the old thread...QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Mar 24 2013, 02:51 PM) You need to buy. Our HU is windows version. You need to get version X8.5 if not mistaken. I am using this. Again, don't confuse ppl. Our HU is running on Windows CE (to be precise), by telling ppl Windows (commonly ppl will understand it as Windows XP, 7 or 8 etc) sigh...You may find from internet, but it is illegal to discuss here. |

QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Mar 25 2013, 04:39 PM) It is simple to install Papago on our HU. well done. At last you finally posted something which benefit others in clear and precise english First, you have to make sure get the Papago Software version x8.5 with resolution 800x480 (Windows CE). Then you need to create a folder for example "papago x8.5" on your HU SDCard. Extract the content to the folder. Second, go to your HU click on >> Apps >> Options. You will see the screen allows you to change Skin, Display, Datetime. At the below you will see the 'Navigator Path'. Just change it and point to navi.exe file under papago folder. For Example: \Storage Card\papago x8.5\navi.exe Done! |

QUOTE(rompers @ Mar 26 2013, 06:31 PM) I'm still in the hunt for Car Coating as well.. DIY the best. Cost mostly less than Rm300. Optimum coating expect at least double the above price IF you let ppl do.So far, I've narrowed down to 3 prospective methods/packages: 1) PPS Coating @ Jalan Horsepower, Sunway - RM 700++ (if am not wrong on the pricing) 2) Sierra Glow @ SS15(?) - RM 650++ (again if am not wrong) 3) Kuzig Glanz @ Ara Damansara - RM 570 (inclusive of glass coating) Am leaning more towards PPS now.. QUOTE(zerohunter @ Mar 27 2013, 08:56 AM) Do bear in mind NO coating in the world is better than your stock clear coat, some will fade within few month, some will gone after a year.....and most importantly you need to PUT ALOT more CARE in taking care of it. Can't simply send to bawah pokok for car wash, even wash/dry also have to be very careful etc...Alot of ppl (not sure how many time i have repeated this in how many forum) still think that once they paid for the coating (be it Rm300 or Rm1500) coating, thier paintwork will be invicible.....sorry to say there is no such thing... Hope this help for those that didn't know still.. |
