Lama tidak menulis dan membaca.. Too busy with work and spending my time elsewhere... I read some discussion about Firestorm... Ramai sudah psang...

For those who already pasang the mercun, if you want to unleash the true potential, try to change your air filter to KN or Simolta or any high performance one plus change your plug to the Iridium type... You can feel the different and your ride will be smoother than before... More pickup ooo...

Hehehehehehehe...

i bought it RM270 inclusive the cleaning kit.
maybe u could try full/half tank of Bhp petrol (Ron 95) or Shell Vpower 97 ("Racing" i guess) and then go to highway press pedal kao kao with heavy leg tongue.gif

my last 2 tanks was Bhp ron95.
the 2nd tank was full load with 5 adults plus 80% luggage space, my 1.6sx still manage to handle the loads for 150km journey hehehe  laugh.gif

after that, i feel that the car become so powerful, unexpected result!  thumbup.gif
if that's the case, u should quickly go ahead with K&N  rclxms.gif

wow Zerohunter, you really spend a lot of money to modify your car  rclxms.gif

I heard that if you install firestorm, voltage stabilizer is not required anymore and it is more better for old car.

Hi, don't waste your money on VS (I did  blush.gif ). Won't give you any extra power....best case would be slightly longer battery life.  biggrin.gif

You are from KL? Try Rawang or Klang.

Good to change to 16 light rim. I tried to find it in Penang last time. Very difficult to get. End up I get the light rim 17".
*
Yes kl. Went to the famous hin leong klang aka papan shop yesterday but no 16 light weight only 17 and above. Will try rawang and shah alam next time, will alao try other shops in klang

the car is already fun to drive in stock condition, in my case, after i add in

16' rim + tires - go through potholes with more confident and speed compare to 17'
firestorm - no more sluggish, gear changing is smoother (auto)
chassis foam - more comfortable when go on yellow line and bump, close to conti feel
filter + spark plug - a slight boost in performance? still monitoring tongue.gif

Let me warn you. its a disease  cry.gif The shop I go to also warned me. You do, feel better, then you will detect other place noisy, then you do other place, then you hear other noises, then the vicious cycle continues. So far I did chassis foaming and door panel sound proofing. Now start hearing tyre noise damn loud @.@ feel like going to do wheel arch treatment  icon_question.gif
*
this thing is not happen in my case, so far i'm happy with the stock sound proof in cabin and etc but i do put the wheel arch treatment into my future upgrade consideration coz the stock condition really quite noisy even before doing the foam, i did some research before decide to do the foam, i contact the seller, only ask price and available time slot then i go, never ask other sound proof products tongue.gif

now when i go on yellow lines, road bumps etc, i can feel the car is more solid and less flexing and it's really conti feel tongue.gif

Ah...I was there for chasis foam too. Under the seats' road noise reduced, but boot very noisy now. Vibration wise, car became bumpier cz less flex. Handling definitely better. Cornering better, braking better. Yellow line less obvious but if go through the big yellow line from Kelana Jaya to Canon bridge, ass still pain. Will go do boot treatment next.
*
update us after doing the boot treatment, my next treatment is the wheel arch
