After dividend announce only can see the entries for 2020

You are able to see it through your withdrawal eligibility. That is usually updated.

Don't compare EPF dividends with 10 years ago - chief

just wondering,...did anyone of you posted in the comment section of that article?....some posting looks

I think most people are comparing to 1-2 years ago only. S&P 500 had a great 2019 and EPF does invest outside of Malaysia where in general major economies had solid returns >15%. Local bond holdings must have appreciated substantially with lower interest rates.

I don't see it? Where?

Could it be he is referring to the contribution cut from 11% to 7%?
*
Seems to be a new version up. The excerpt was from the original. It also stated no need for new bond funding for the stimulus package.

It's voluntary.
Not first time doing this move by the government.
If my old memory is still good, this should be the 3rd time.

I'll stick to my original contribution even though next year dividend could slide to below 5%.

Yes, I recall that we needed to submit a form if we wanted to remain at same level. Extra work for same outcome..

No. It depends on your company; not EPF right?

You should be checking with your company HR/account payable/payroll on the delay.

Company has paid on time. It is the payroll company that is dragging on. I found it, thanks!

The payroll company is just an executor of your company instruction.
The payroll company is mediator between your company and EPF and they shouldn't delay it as it is not their money to start with.
My company payroll is also outsourced but yet they can execute on-time per schedule.
*
Yes, they are only the executor but also have their own cycles. It’s one of the largest payroll companies in Malaysia so I doubt it is for individual gain. I recall their cycle has always been the last date per statutory requirements so the change from EPF triggered this.

I am ok as long as it doesn’t vanish smile.gif

nothing serious to think about....
just a simple came to mind reasons that lead me to not seriously think about it are
current political situation, pass actions done on this KWSP saving/retirement withdrawal issue, current unemployment situation, race and party survival issue....that are just some of it.
thus no issue to think about.
*
I’ve been treating EPF as a savings account but changes to the age would definitely make me rethink that. The big issue is that 55 is young and most retirees have very little in EPF.
