FD rate now so terribly low.
For age 60 + is it possible to deposit max 60k one shot into EPF for better returns?

That quota thingy for 60k. What if I put 60k now in may this year , next year Jan 2021 I still can enjoy refresh 60k quota am I right?
Or have to do it in may 2021?

Yes, it’s by year, not 12-month rolling period.

Have some question.
When I bank in RM60k to EPF on 1-9-2020, how does the prorate works out? Do I get 4 months of dividends?
What about I bank in to EPF on let say 15/16-9-2020, dividend still exactly 4 months?

MUM thank you for sharing.
I read through the previous posts that irregardlesa of September month I contribute still I'll get one day dividend for that month. Moving forward October, November , December , January 2021 onwards will I get full dividend?
Which means OCT20-DEC20 will based on dividend declaration in 2021 February? While JAN21-DEC21 will based on 2022 February dividend declaration?

i think what you think is not right....cannot be irreagrdless, for what if you put in on the 1st of the month?
i maybe wrong, for i did not completely read those,....

on this "Which means OCT20-DEC20 will based on dividend declaration in 2021 February? While JAN21-DEC21 will based on 2022 February dividend declaration?"

Different modes of deposit take different days to credit into your epf account. I always make sure amount is credited b4 the 1st of next month so that my dividend will starts next month. I normally do it via m2u and it takes 1 or 2 working days.

FD due in September. Otherwise would do as what you recommend

No one can give definite answer your question. If deposit on 1-Sep and the system cleared into EPF by 2-Sep or 3-Sep, there is a chance it will record Sep as one full month. Otherwise, if EPF logged as by Oct, then you get nothing for whole month of Sep. No one knows the answer until you do it and wait till early October.

I don't understand about the transfer in September month assuming on the 1/9/20, how does it logged as October ? It's a system slow updating from EPF? First time hearing this.

Received circulation of this in social media, just to confirm with all is that true?

If ONE (1) of your Nominees in the EPF Nominees list dies, automatically the whole arrangement (EPF Nominees list) is VOID ..
Meaning if, you only put in One (1) name & unfortunately he/she dies before you - automatically EPF will channel your EPF money to trustee of AMANAH RAYA upon your death.

Why they still deposit in epf as they only give dividend to max rm1m. What happens to the other rm9m? Weird
