QUOTE(whirlwind @ Jul 30 2020, 09:28 AM) Thanks, already found out how to do it i also just 'sold' all my unit trust and park back inside EPF for the dividend. selection of unti trust fund is very important. if the fund cannot do better than EPF then it's not worth the time and money. Basically you the redeem function to allocate back to EPF but at the moment I switch to other fund to try to gain bank my losses after 3 years, i m getting avg of 3% from my local balanced equity funds, so better switch back to EPF for the dividend. |

Local equity fund wouldn't have done well in the past 3 years. Corporate earnings are weak and terrible. EPF outperforms because bonds do well and international-sourced income added to its revenue. after 3 years, i m getting avg of 3% from my local balanced equity funds, so better switch back to EPF for the dividend. Local balanced fund should perform better than local equity fund though, given bonds' good return. |

Have some question.
When I bank in RM60k to EPF on 1-9-2020, how does the prorate works out? Do I get 4 months of dividends? What about I bank in to EPF on let say 15/16-9-2020, dividend still exactly 4 months? |

Moving forward October, November , December , January 2021 onwards will I get full dividend? Which means OCT20-DEC20 will based on dividend declaration in 2021 February? While JAN21-DEC21 will based on 2022 February dividend declaration? |

Otherwise would do as what you recommend |

QUOTE(CoronaV @ Aug 31 2020, 09:53 AM) No one can give definite answer your question. If deposit on 1-Sep and the system cleared into EPF by 2-Sep or 3-Sep, there is a chance it will record Sep as one full month. Otherwise, if EPF logged as by Oct, then you get nothing for whole month of Sep. No one knows the answer until you do it and wait till early October. |

I don't understand about the transfer in September month assuming on the 1/9/20, how does it logged as October ? It's a system slow updating from EPF? First time hearing this. |

First time hearing this. if transfer on 1/9/20 (tue), you can view EPF transaction recorded as 2/9/2020 (wed) on Thursday morning. In short, EPF take T+1 to complete transaction. |
