Then years later, they will again publish data showing lots of contributors does not hv enough for retirement use.

how else to repeat the same old story that majority of members are too poor and don't have enough to retire... and hence the need for EPF to better baby sit everyone.... lol

Anyone here bought ilindung? I bought it earlier of this year and now I just wondering will the cost of insurance increase next year? Will they let us know how much is the cost of insurance before they charge our epf? I just worry that cost of insurance keep increasing and I don't want it to be a bill shock 🫨

I might consider to cancel it if they automatically increase the premium and take money from my epf without letting me know.

Can someone share their experience on this iLindung?

While waiting for real sifus to response, I kay poh abit, but, I could be seriously wrong as,
I think i lindung provides 2 types of insurance coverage only.
It offer Life and Critical illness coverage and does not have Medical insurance coverage.
Premium of Medical insurance rises frequently to help keep your policy sustainable due to medical inflation and age.
Where else, Premium of Life and Critical illness policy stays fixed over time.

Btw, the i lindung insurance policy that you bought early this year is a medical insurance plan or ??

From recent active threads, seems like more related here. I have a question. From EPF withdrawal to home loan. The lump sum method, not the monthly deduction method.
Does the amount withdrew goes to Flexi loan Current account? Or direct into the actual Home Loan account principal.

While waiting for value added responses, my usual kaypoh guess and bet (after reading this from kwsp website), are, if lumpsum housing withdrawal, the payment will be to your bank account of your choice that are kwsp panel banks.

Ohhhh can even go to stray Savings Account maybe. Not even Home Loan or Linked-Current Account.
Idea is to put into Current Account for Interest reduction. Reverse calculate interest-saved to match to possible Interest Gain from EPF.
Since withdrawal goal post moved, savings plan need to move Penalty Kick spot also

While doing that calculation,
Do consider the liquidity of money in EPF (if you are subjected to it)

If one is confidence enough after having gained much and earned plenty of hands on experience through investment of their choice, they would use that money to invest rather than have it sits in kwsp or current account

5.8 to 6% is quite higher side....

I'm expecting around 5.5 to 5.8 only....

All thanks to the unstable situation around the world.....

Between 5.8 - 6.0% is a variance of 0.2%
Between 5.5 - 5.8% is a variance of 0.3%

If hv 1 million in kwsp the difference is RM3000 per year variance or RM250 per month.
Many dont hv 100k in kwsp so that I think they dont have the much dilemma or eagerness to bicker over that 0.3% variance, especially when they hv long way to go to beable to withdraw and use any of it

As long don't go below 5%.... I'm okay with the rates given...

Cannot really ask more as it's low risk assets class....

would have preferred 6.0% div... cos its easier to calculate the div one can spend for next year...
but 5.5% div is also fine depending on how the market ends in Dec... as long as EPF don't keep silly amount of reserve

Mid 2026 to 2027 is very "important" period...

Need to give & spread "feel good factor".... So I'm expecting EPF to really maximize their dividend payout ratio.... Above 95%.... And who knows more also... Like one of the year... 105%

But problem is the performance.... That's cannot be fake out... $$$ don't fall from sky....

So if performance bad... Maximize the payout ratio... In the end giving 5.5%

Lower payout ratio... Lowered than 5.5% lorh
