Very difficult, because I do lots of txns a month, and almost always exceed the RM50 monthly cap. Anyone knows if shopping at NSK gets 5% or 1%?

You can call up CS to confirm the codes too.

Is that stupid if I apply OCBC Ti now since there is no promotion?
(I would say no promo because i guess the RM80 rebate has already end long time ago) =.=

Is it? OCBC website states till 30th June 2013. http://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/Ca...l?id=0&cat=all#

yaya.. til 30th of June 2013.. what I concern is whether the rebate of RM80 has already ended long time ago
(Note: * The rebate is given on a first come, first served basis and subject to availability. )

Well, to me that's not important for now.
Let's just hope that your application goes through as you know OCBC doesn't easily give approvals for their OCBC Ti.

I'm thinking to get the new card design... my current old one (curved edge) always stuck at Petronas pump station sad.gif Even the guys working there can recognize me because I always need to call them for help to remove my card. Not sure if the new card facing this issue?

This was one of the requirements when I applied for CIMB Direct Access, one of the entry cards for graduates.
I applied that after I got my first job, then already cancelled it last year because it doesn't seem to have any good offers.
For CIMB DA, I could have understood because it was specially for graduates.

i found that those online applications will get rejected most of the times.
i have been rejected 1 time for using online application.
then someone advised me to apply at the branch instead of going online, those telesales may not submit your forms accordingly.
after they rejected my application, 1 month later i went to the branch, this time they approved my application.
since then, i never trust those telesales anymore.

If you have the time, go to their branch.
I don't have the time and the branch is not near to me, so I went for online. smile.gif

Malls one, sometimes cannot be trusted one because they were there just to get commissions.

and what i submit is two times thru agent, both rejected and then 1 appeal, also thru agent, still got rejected.
in my file now i got three rejection letter from OCBC.
but they replied quite fast. i received the rejection letter about two weeks after submission. sweat.gif

Usually if you don't have any credit history before, OCBC may reject you straightaway.
This is based on the experiences shared by few forummers here.
Try to get other banks' cards first before applying, that also doesn't guarantee you won't be rejected. I'm one of them. sweat.gif
But at least the chances to be approved later is higher, that's based on my own experience. I have 2 cards before applied for OCBC. smile.gif
