Anyone ever use this card for Life Insurance auto giro for monthly payment?

I heard from my friend saying that Great Eastern offering discount if paying using OCBC.
Will this card giving rebate also?
*
This card gives rebate to all transactions, if they don't fall into 5% categories, then that's 1% cash back.
For your question, only 1% will be given.

I'm also having monthly auto-payment for my GE using my OCBC Ti.

For your friend, I think she's using OCBC GE card. 3% cash back for GE insurance but losses out on other transactions.

MCC : 4814 - telecommunication services (Utility)

If so not bad, consistent with what fruitie mention previously.

Mind to ask you all paid via paypal through which medium? online or handphone app?

OFF TOPIC : how to tag fruitie using the @
*
Mine is TGV, his is GSC. Even better for me as I go to GSC more often compared to TGV. rclxms.gif
I paid using online via my laptop. biggrin.gif

Or too dirty?  whistling.gif

By the way, what exactly does it mean by clean record?
Did you ask why is it rejected? No point appealing if the reason is still there.
*
Too clean = No loan, no other cc

Banks cannot/will not share rejection reason.

How long the payment will be reflected for utilities payment? Gonna be my first time paying to Syabas but I'm not at PJ house now to refer to the bill.

Will be back only tomorrow's night and my deadline is 31st July... sweat.gif

How about the payment using paypal for GSC and TGV??? Will there be extra charges by using paypal to book the ticket?
*
No extra charges for PayPal.
But there is always extra charges apply for online booking. I think RM 1.00 or RM 0.50 one ticket, can't recall. This is regardless you pay using online banking, credit card or PayPal.

Not sure if this was asked before but, how do I pay via cimb?
*
GIRO transfer and choose OCBC, then choose credit card payment and the bank account no. is your credit card no.
My CIMB account is not active and I'm using Maybank2U to pay but it should be the same for all banks.

I realised zurich insurance is under the online payee list. Does that mean i will get 5% cashback for paying my Zurich insurance premium?
*
No. Only 1% for insurance as it doesn't fit into any of the 5% categories.

I really hoped to apply for this credit card but the minimum income per annum is RM36,000..

I have been using UOB Credit Card and I have a good payment record in settling the credit card bill, but my minimum income is below RM36,000 per annum..

You guys have any other way to apply for the card? ... Just asking.. blush.gif
*
Maybe for other card, this card is very strict... sad.gif Even if you have more than 36k per annum, there are still chances to be rejected by them. sad.gif

I tried once on TGV and it worked. After that, haven't gone for any movie yet. It was a surprise for me though.

I see. That means you have like 3-4 bank accounts? Because I notice that we can actually pay bills through M2U using non-Maybank CC, but don't know if there is any bank charges for that. Don't wish to open so many bank accounts. Anyway, thanks
*
My Maybank is the only active bank account.
I have OCBC Ti and pay most of utilities bills using its portal, then pay the credit card bill via GIRO from Maybank. Only RM 0.10 to OCBC.
