If you go to an OCBC branch it should be a breeze, because some of their branches have the KWSP kiosk. Using your MyKad and thumbprint, you can generate the statement on the spot. But advise you call your specific branch upfront to check that their kiosk is working.

Currently they have promotion - 3 swipes in 45 days to get RM50 rebate. It takes about a week for them to approve. So hurry!

Actually not much of a promotion, caused the RM50 rebate is actually offset to GST charges, once your card approved, immediately there is the GST charges, the rebate with 3 swipes in 45 days will be enter in the following month.

Oh... btw there is also the big bad wolf vouchers RM50 rclxms.gif , but it is at KL only, and according to CS, you need to be there personally, show IC, to claim the voucher

then y use paypal and not OCBC Titanium CC?

paypal more secured?

OCBC Titatium CC got SMS Code before approval like Maybank Visa?

I never use paypal, never use mastercard. Always use Maybank Visa with SMS Code before approval for online purchase, which I find very secured.

I feel more secured and that time I got 5% discount with booking via PayPal, unexpectedly. smile.gif

My OCBC Titanium Mastercard application journey :

1st attempt in June 2013 - rejected mad.gif , appealed - rejected vmad.gif , reappealed - rejected again! bye.gif

2nd attempt in August 2013 - did not adhere to CS advice to a 3-month wait period...successful! thumbup.gif

Now my card is on its way to me. Too happy & excited that I forgot to enquire about the statement date & credit limit biggrin.gif Those who were denied by OCBC before, don't give up! Best of luck!

Other banks (e.g. RHB KLCC I know) or MyEG outlets also have KWSP kiosks. Probably can check KWSP website. In fact you can get the EPF statement online too.

If not mistaken, have to sign up at EPF office or their mobile unit to get the log in password...I did that when they went to Tesco in Penang..

Not required. I don't have savings account with OCBC as well.
I pay my CC bill from Maybank2U, only RM 0.10 per transaction. biggrin.gif
No need. I appealed immediately once mine was rejected and got approved after that.

mine to share who do u approach to appeal? by email or by call and what points did you bring out to argue?

At first asked my agent to appeal for me, but I don't know if he did his work.
After some time, didn't hear from him, I called to the customer service and spoke to one of the guys there.
Voiced out my dissatisfaction as they have no reason to reject me because I fulfill their salary requirements and I even have my payslips and EPF statements to prove. Plus, no outstanding and good payer for other cards.
He promised to help me to escalate.
That was on a Friday's evening (after working hours), surprised to receive a call on Tuesday's morning that my card was already approved on Monday and already sent out.

Until today it is still a mystery, not sure it was agent that helped me or the CS guy managed to escalate.

Just submitted all my documents. Let's see if they approve me this time. Got rejected last year but didn't bother to appeal. Can't wait to cut off my CIMB. The only reason I am keeping it till now is coz of the generous CL. It is now collecting dust after Maybank upgraded my CL for my Maybankard 2. I need the OCBC Ti for my weekdays expenses and also as a backup card
